Ferries
There is a "passenger & vehicle" connection between Malta and Sicily, to Pozzallo with a bus continuation to Catania. This is operated by Virtu Ferries with at least two daily crossings, 1 hour 45 minutes at sea, and pedestrian round-trip fares starting between 65 and 140 € depending on the season.

Cruises
Given Malta’s location, it’s no surprise that the destination is a classic stop for the many cruise ships sailing the Mediterranean. Each year, around 300 vessels dock in Valletta’s Grand Harbour, bringing 600,000 cruise passengers (as of 2015) to visit the archipelago.
