Religion

Traditionally predominantly Catholic, Honduras is gradually seeing the influence of this religion decline in favor of various Protestant churches and sects, which are increasingly present and active in the region. Today, the country has barely 47% Catholics, over 40% Protestants, 10% atheists, and 2 to 3% adhering to other religions (Islam, Buddhism, Rastafarianism, etc.).
