Frankfurt am Main, its full name (to distinguish it from Frankfurt an der Oder in the east of the country), is the city of commerce and finance in Germany. It is also much better known to travellers as the hub of Lufthansa than for its tourist attractions, which can, however, be discovered between flights for the essentials.
