Sea Temperature Throughout the Year
Stretching over 3,000 km in latitude, Japan’s sea temperatures naturally vary by location. The southern island of Kyushu offers the most pleasant conditions, with good swimming opportunities from spring to autumn. The further north you go, the shorter this "ideal period" becomes—around Tokyo, it’s limited to just the summer months.
