Studies

More than for academic studies themselves, Malta is known across Europe for its language schools, which allow you to learn English at a lower cost than, for example, in Great Britain. The country, officially bilingual in Maltese and English, has around forty schools catering to young people (and not just them) of all levels. Stays can vary greatly in length depending on the programme and generally combine learning with activities and sightseeing around the archipelago, sometimes also offering accommodation with Maltese families. Over 85,000 "students" benefit from this system each year.
