As one might expect, London is an expensive city, and even very expensive in season. While food is affordable, the same cannot be said for transport (compared to other capitals), even though you can do a lot on foot. Accommodation and, above all, the cost of visits—often £20 to £30 for entry, including for "secondary" attractions—can add up. This makes it worth looking into the various cards and passes available for a stay in London, which in many cases will still allow you to save some money. It’s also worth noting that some museums or permanent collections (British Museum, Museum of London, Science Museum, etc.) are free.
