Borders
Chile shares a border with Argentina (6,691 km), Bolivia (942 km), and Peru (171 km).
From Neighboring Countries
Regardless of the country, there are border crossings to and from Chile.
- From/to Argentina: Except in the far south, there are numerous crossings between the two countries, though these require crossing the Andes (some passes close in winter). One of the most popular routes connects Mendoza to Santiago de Chile.
- From/to Bolivia: Several border points in northern Chile, as well as the option to travel by train with the bi-weekly Ferroviaria Andina service, which runs from Uyuni to Avaroa in Bolivia before continuing to Chile and Calama.
- From/to Peru:
