Climate and weather in San Antonio
The town has a typical Mediterranean climate with dry, sunny, and hot summers. Even though average summer temperatures hover around 30°C, the proximity to the sea significantly softens the heat compared to, for example, inland Spain. Winters are mild and pleasant, with temperatures often around 15°C. Rainfall is scarce, except for a little at the end or beginning of the year, and winds are more common from October to April.
The period from May to early October is the best climatically for exploring Ibiza. That said, despite the good weather, July and August do have the major drawback of being extremely crowded.
