Much like its neighbour the Tarn, Tarn-et-Garonne (particularly its southern part) is often seen as a distant suburb of Toulouse. However, like the Tarn, it also boasts some beautiful villages worth visiting, such as Auvillar, Lauzerte, Saint-Antonin Noble Val, and especially Bruniquel.
