Kyrenia, Chypre
Kyrenia
This charming port on the northern coast with its citadel is the most visited place in Northern Cyprus and is considered the "tourist capital of the country." You can also enjoy its beaches, its hinterland, its lively atmosphere, go diving, and see turtles in the surrounding area.
Apostolos Andreas Monastery
An Orthodox monastery located at the tip of the Karpasia peninsula.
Nicosie, Chypre
Nicosia
Like Berlin in the past, the Cypriot capital (called Lefkosa on the Turkish side) is divided in two, with each part in one of the two "countries"; the famous "Green Line" acts as the separator. Lefkosa is home to much of Nicosia’s old town.
