comme tu le dis, il reste des valeurs dans beaucoup de familles marocaine qui se perde de plus en plus ici .
l'honnêteté n'est pas spécifique à 1 pays plutôt qu'a 1 autre, partout il y a des gens bien et d'autres moins bien
je vois tellement de filles ici qui cherche des mecs friqués ou inversement que ça me fait rire (non c'est triste !)
de voir comment on traite les gens des autres pays .
on ne passe à la télé que ce qui est négatif, le malheur fait recette !!!
les mariages réussis, les jeunes qui bossent, qui font des études, qui montent des entreprises, qui élèvent bien leur gamins, qui respectent le pays ou ils ont choisis de vivre, ont en parle pratiquement jamais !
et pourtant ça existe .

Hé ben monsieur...quand j'ai dis "elle n'aura pas à exagérer dans la dote et les festivités et ses parents mêmes pourront contribuer dans ces derniers" je savais très bien ce que je disais....les 4 derniers mariages aux quelles j'ai assisté était organisé par le père de la mariée et c'est lui qui financais...et puis monsieur..le but ce n'est pas de cherché qui va payer et qui ne va pas le faire...ce n'est pas un esprit de famille ça ni d'un mariage réussit! Quand on se marie on fait part entière de la famille et de ce moment là..on ne calcule pas combien chacun doit dépenser..la logique des vrais familles veux qu'elle soit basée sur la munificence...chacun se précipite pour participer au mieux qu'il peut...contrairement à la logique matérialiste qui règne de nos jours et qui fait que nombreux auront du mal à comprendre ce que je viens de citer...et sachez que "l'indice de réussite" d'un mariage n'est pas en la somme qui y est dépensé mais en l'harmonie qui lie ces différentes parties lors de la fête...encore une notion à avaler difficilement tant qu'on l'as pas vécu!!

Mais tu sembles oublier que cela ne se fait pas vraiment car pour qu'un mariage soit valide aux yeux de la famille et de son entourage, on doit célébrer une fete de mariage. Cette fete de mariage sera plus ou moins simple, plus ou moins fastueux en fonction des desiretas de la famille de la fille ou du garcon.
Car la fete est une occasion pour celebrer le nouveau couple mais aussi de "montrer l'importance" de la famille au seins de la communauté.
C'est que la plupart des personnes etrangeres ont du mal a comprendre dans une société qui est basé sur la famille au sens large
Pour conclure, je connais meme un couple mixte qui n'ont fait aucunes fetes apres l'acte adoulaire. Et aussi de couples maroco-marocaines qui ont fait une fete tres fastueuses. Toutes les formes existent.

pourquoi ne pas essayer de faire venir ton amie en france pour qq jours avec un visa schengen ?
ca permettrait de vous voir dans un pays different du sien et elle pourrait connaitre le mode de vie francais, ta famille et tes amis ...

j ai fait 2 demandes pour mon ami marocain, une pour l été 2008, accordée pour trois mois, une pour l'année 2009, avec entrées multiples.je voulais que mon ami vienne 1 mois en fevrier pour une invitation a un mariage, et 2 mois en été. le visa a été accordé, mais pour 3 mois dans la période comprise entre le 1er fevrier et le 30 avril...!!!!

mais je pense au mariage , c'est possible mais avec beaucoup de temps, il faut deja se reconvertir a l'islam , apres il faut prendre rendez vous a l"ambassade ou es ta future femme, je te donne un site et tu vas tout comprendre mariage franco marocain

ha il faut pas généraliser non plus mais être clair dés le départ avec la fille, ne pas lui mentir sur sa situation ou autre, j'ai eu un copain qui s'est mariée avec une marocaine et avant il a "flambé" au Maroc pour l'éblouir, palace, voiture etc... le probléme est qu'il n'est pas du tout riche et qu'à son arrivée en France la pauvre a du habiter dans un garage .
Il faut bien connaître la fille, rencontrer sa famille etc... moi j'ai fait une erreur en 2002, marocaine rencontrée sur le net en dialyse, 2 ans aprés elle avait la nationalité, elle a commencée à changer et 6 aprés elle était gréffée alors la c'était une autre personne croyez moi donc j'ai divorcé recemment et elle a retrouvé un français riche lol.
On dit que les marocaines sont intéressées, d'abord pas toutes mais je pense que toutes les femmes au monde et en particulier les Françaises le sont encore plus, donc si vous vous aimez vraiment moi je dis fonce!!!! mais connais la bien avant et dis lui la vérité.

After many trips to the south of Fès, I’m giving the north a try.
My plan is roughly to do a road trip loop from Rabat back to Rabat, passing through Asilah, Tangier, Tétouan, Chefchaouen, Akchour, Fès, Meknès, and Volubilis.
That’s a lot of cities. Probably a bit too many for our taste—we usually prefer more isolated spots...
So I’m looking for tips on little backroads, secluded beaches, half-day hikes, and offbeat places.
If you’ve also got recommendations for accommodation... (We’re open to splurging over 100 € if it’s a real favorite.)
Feel free to think outside the box—this is an open-ended plan! !😉

I’m planning to go back myself soon to reconnect with my roots... before I pass away...
I’ve started making a few pre-bookings for hotels and apartments to rent in Algiers. At first, I received friendly and welcoming responses. Then, when I mentioned I wanted to stay for two or three weeks—maybe even a month—explaining that my trip wouldn’t be strictly touristy but more of a pilgrimage to the places of my childhood, and that it would likely be a very emotional journey, I expected a positive and warm reaction to my approach. Instead, I suddenly stopped getting replies from the three or four people I’d contacted. So now I’m wondering about the reception former Pieds-Noirs can expect...

I’d love to hear from anyone who’s been through the process about the accommodation attestation required for the visa application:
- Does it need to cover the entire duration of the trip?
- Is this document mandatory for a hotel to rent a room?
- Is it checked during inspections?
- Is a hotel booking (e.g., via Booking.com) sufficient for the visa?

I’d like to do a route that’s a bit different from my first stay, which was more focused on cities and culture (Tunis, Sousse, Kairouan, El Jem).
I’ll be getting around by public transport.
I’d like to head south toward Tozeur, and I saw that you can take a *louage* from Monastir to Sbeitla (2h30). I imagine it’s not too complicated to get to Tozeur from there afterward? The issue is the return trip to Monastir and safety in Sbeitla.
If this route seems too complicated, I might opt for Djerba instead, which looks simpler.

Day 3: Stop in Tetouan Day 4-5-6: Chefchaouen and a day hike in the Rif Mountains Day 6-7: Discover the city of Fes (I’ve heard so many great things!!) Day 8: Stop in Meknes and possibly visit the historic site of Volubilis Day 9-10: Rabat (I’ve heard mixed things... some good, some bad) After that, I have the choice of heading back to Tangier for my return flight... or going down to Agadir (also a possible return flight) and extending my trip by 5 days :)
From what I can tell, everything is well connected by bus (CTM) or train (ONCF). Another question: Is the vibe in Moroccan youth hostels for meeting people the same as what you’d find in Western Europe?

Tickets for entry to Majorelle Garden are only issued online via an official site
(though there are fraudulent sites out there). On the official site, they ask for legitimate info
(name, nationality, etc.). What made me go "hmm" was the request for both an email address
AND a password (with confirmation). Is this normal?

I aimed for an excursion to the Chigaga desert from M’Hamid because it seems less touristy and allows for a more compact loop. Is that a good idea? Is the drive to M’Hamid maybe too tedious?

You won’t have to deal with hagglers or people trying to overcharge you for services that are available online for free. Use platforms like Booking, Expedia, carsrental.ma, Airbnb, and other booking services to get this done properly.
2. Exchange your money to Moroccan dirhams as soon as you land. 1 € is always a little over 10 dirhams, but many people get charged as if it were exactly 10 dirhams per euro.
3. When visiting an old site or the old medina, avoid talking to vendors and shop owners—they’re really good at getting your attention and making you overpay for things.
4. Ask your tour guide to buy things for you. Yes, they do get a commission, but you’ll probably pay way more if you buy something yourself that they can get cheaply.

For Egypt, I know it’s a period to avoid if possible, but I’m thinking that by the sea, it might be manageable. Otherwise, I’ll consider another destination.
Day 1: Arrival in Hurghada in the evening Day 2, 3, 4: Hurghada Day 5: Hurghada, then drive to Luxor in the early afternoon Day 6: Luxor Day 7: Luxor, then drive back to Hurghada in the late afternoon Day 8, 9, 10, 11: Hurghada Day 12: Return flight
For the Hurghada trip, either rent a car or—easier—a private car/van. Is it worth adding an extra day in Luxor?
