Great paint job, personal opinion.

Excellent anti-theft lock.

(He's offering an exceptional deal!) 1000 euros

Wouldn't it be better to go with a mechanic instead? Besides, it probably depends on the distance to travel.

In my opinion, the color and the fuzzy stuff on the dashboard already act as an anti-theft device (a fuzzy accessory is generally placed prominently in the cabin by a trucker to ward off any normal person who might try to grab the precious vehicle). Get your own idea at http://www.chez.com/jacky

Plus, the cost of moving it by driver or garage W comes to around 1€/km (with whatever fuel's left in the tank) plus the return ticket.

An exceptional convoy costs way over 1000 euros (unless you're doing only 150km). Keep in mind a simple rental truck costs around €65/hour with driver — imagine the price of a car carrier round trip.

Hi everyone!

How's it going with your July 14th meet-up?

I'm hoping to be part of it, so I'd love to hear how things are progressing. Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone.

I finally found my coach. I just sent the reservation check today. At last, a bus where I can actually stand up!

It's a 1994 Volvo B10M with 390,000 km, in good overall condition, no rust, and well-maintained based on the logbook.

I hope everything will go smoothly and I'll get it without any surprises.

Best regards.

and a new project on VF. Finally gazmobil's a go! Ho, ho, ho!

I'm checking if I have your model in my database (here's something they won't find elsewhere) and I'll send you the detailed blueprints of your bus in different formats (gif, pdf, eps, cdr) so you can scale your plans in whatever software you prefer.

SEE YOU SOON, AND CONGRATS ON YOUR CHOICE!

I'll email you the closest match. It's a Berkhof too, 5 windows, but rear engine and driver door. You can make the changes yourself.

😉 Congratulations.

You're gonna have to change your signature, looks like there's no shortage of that kind of work 😎

It's got style, and if you can scratch your head without bending down as well, then... 😏

That works out perfect—guess you didn't have anything else to do over vacation anyway 😄

Hey, there are some missing pages? Weird, right? 😛

Yeah, you found a nice Gasmobil coach—I hope it's in good condition. Even though it's from 1994, that's still okay. Has the chassis been cataphoresis-treated?

Since the issue is closed and insults aren't part of this forum's topics, it was decided with our moderators to do a cleanup!

Thanks to them!

Having seen it with him, it's very, very clean—really very clean! Almost too clean to be converted (no, I'm joking!)...

Good ceiling height, square design (so easier than mine to outfit), tires are still to be checked, but there are plans for that!

A little blog to create to do like everyone else... show what you're capable of, and share photo examples to help others.

But no stress, the check to secure it has been sent, but he doesn't have the keys in his pocket yet! The nights must be restless... full of dreams! More than a year Mr. Gazmobil's been looking for his base!

If that's not a well-thought-out project!... a year to do the work and first vacation by summer 2008, I think that's where the goal should be!

I'm counting on him to keep us posted anyway!

Getting to know him well, he must be between excitement and anxiety! (Stay zen, it's going to work out fine, you'll do like everyone else anyway; plans you won't follow during your work!).

First step, the bodywork!
