I’d like to get some information about my eligibility for the DV Lottery.
About my background:
• I earned a *Bac Pro* through VAE (*Validation des Acquis de l’Expérience*), issued by the *Éducation nationale*.
• I also have a professional certification as a *Conseiller en Insertion* (Employment Counselor), issued by the Ministry of Labor.
• Altogether, this adds up to a *Bac+2* level.
I’d like to know if this level qualifies me to apply for the DV Lottery.
Regarding my work experience:
• I work as an *Employment Counselor*.
• I checked on O*Net Online for the classification: Job Zone 4, SVP Range: 7.0 – <8.0.
• I only have one year of experience, but I handle similar tasks in business creation.
So my question is: can I apply for the DV Lottery despite my relatively short experience, given that my job falls under Job Zone 4?

High School Education: A high school education means successful completion of a formal course of elementary and secondary education comparable to a 12-year course in the United States. Only formal courses of study meet this requirement; equivalency certificates (such as the G.E.D.) are not acceptable.
Work Experience: If you are qualifying with work experience, you must have two years of experience in the last five years, in an occupation which, by U.S. Department of Labor definitions, requires at least two years of training or experience that is designated as Job Zone 4 or 5, classified in a Specific Vocational Preparation (SVP) rating of 7.0 or higher.
One important thing: don’t lie about your diplomas or years of professional experience.
Watch out—"back checking" is common in the U.S. and Canada.
If you’ve stated on your resume or in the application that you worked for two years at Company So-and-So when it was actually only one year, back-checking companies in the U.S. can verify references and might either call Company So-and-So or send them an email.
So again, be careful about what you write in your application.

Je pars à Bangkok pour 5 mois faire un stage, et je me pose la question du budget car j'ai pu lire tout est n'importe quoi, j'ai donc décidé de poster ce message afin d'avoir une réponse appropriée à mon cas :D
J'ai donc trouvé un logement qui me reviens à 7000 bath ( je sais c'est un peu cher mais trés pratique...) donc ce qui fait environ 160 euros toutes charges étant incluses. Je voulais donc savoir si il était envisageable de vivre avec 500 ou 600 euros par mois, et si oui dans quelles conditions? est-ce suffisant sachant que je travaillerai 40 heures par semaines ?

L'organisation WEP propose pleins de projets différents dont un qui me plait bien : aider et travailler volontairement dans une ferme, entre autre en Amérique du Sud (au Pérou ou en Argentine)
J'aimerais savoir si quelqu'un a déjà testé ce projet ou si vous connaissez quelqu'un qui l'a fait ... ou fait un projet similaire ? J'aimerais avoir un peu des échos avant de partir à l'aventure.

L'heure approche pour notre départ (il nous reste moins de 2ans c'est très long et très court à la fois). Pour commencer à préparer cela de la façon la plus sérieuse, il va nous falloir pas mal d'infos. Si quelqu'un connait les tarifs pratiqués par les déménageurs pour une caisse vers la Polynésie, quels sont les pièges à éviter (je sais qu'on peut avoir des devis directement via les déménageurs, mais j'aimerai des infos via les clients😉).
Y'a t il des modalités particulières avant de quitter la France (mis à part les impôts...).

Bonjour je suis kiné libéral en france et dans ma recherche de travailler ailleurs dans deux années avec ma femme ( infirmière) on me propose une équivalence pour devenir physiothérapeute respiratoire en suisse. en effet je passe un diu en kiné respiratoire pédiatrique à ce jour et souhaite me spécialiseer la dedans. Bref le sujet n'est pas là, est ce que quelqu'un peut m'expliquer les avantages, les inconvénients de faire ce métier en suisse, d'après les papiers reçus l'équivalence ne semble qu'administrative ou quasi..... We’re a couple with a child living in the Paris region, and I’ll be relocating to Aix-en-Provence in spring 2026. We’d love to swap our apartment for a house with a pool within 20-30 minutes max of central Aix, with a budget of around 650k €.
In terms of climate and geography, I’ve read that Aix is in a basin where it can get really hot. What about the surrounding villages that are a bit more elevated, like Venelles? Is it just as stifling?
