1: a -t-on besoin d'une moustiquaire lors d'un voyage organisé, hotel, cabane en foret, et train couchettes ?
2: y a -t-il des repulsifs meilleurs que d'autres ?
3: faut-il vraiment eviter les crudités au resto comme on peut le lire dans certains messages ?

voici ma part de réponses.
1. il n'y a pas besoin de moustiquaires dans les hôtels, ni dans les bungalows, si par malheur quelque uns devaient rentrer, c'est soit la chasse pour leur taper dessus, soit l'insectiside. Par contre, en forêt, c'est mieux d'en prévoir un si vous couchez dehors ou si le logis n'est pas fermable à 100%. En train couchettes pas besoin.
2. Je ne pourrais te recommander une lotion mieux que les autres, il paraît qu'une cure de vitamines B avant de partir est bien...
3. Je n'ai jamais entendu cela, j'ai entendu qu'il faut faire attention aux aliments crues, le risque est entre autre l'hépatite, pour cela il est bien de se faire vacciner, c'est 3 doses à intervalles de 2 semaines et c'est pour la vie, donc c'est ce que j'ai fait.

Non. S'il y a vraiment un endroit avec des moustiques, l'hotel te fournira un moustiquaire (ou au pire tu en achètes un sur place, tu ne devras pas te balader avec tout le voyage. Mais vu que c'est un voyage organisé ils auront surement ca sur place)! Bon à savoir : les moustiques n'aiment pas le froid. Donc si tu prends des chambres avec clim, tu n'en verras pas.
"2: y a -t-il des repulsifs meilleurs que d'autres ? " Moi j'achète le mien une fois sur place, c'est moins cher qu'ici et, je pense, plus adapté aux moustiques de là-bas. Je n'en mets que la soirée, sur les parties du corps non couvertes.
"3: faut-il vraiment eviter les crudités au resto comme on peut le lire dans certains messages ?" Je les ai toujours mangées et n'ai eu aucune maladie liée à cela (en 3 voyages). Mais c'est clair que c'est bien de te faire vacciner contre l'hépatite A.
Fin Octobre, oui c'est la fin de la saison des pluies (théoriquement, on est jamais plus sûre de rien
par les temps qui courent 😏 et le réchauffement du climat😛 !)
Tout dépend où tu vas, si cela est en pleine jungle ou non, mais pour le palu, après la mousson les risques sont minimes, de toutes façon protège toi, avec les répulsifs voire moustiquaire à la campagne (et sans être à l'hotel) !
Protège toi, si tu es à BKK, bien sûr les risques de piquùres sont infimes, par contre en campagne (ISAAN par exemple), protège toi avec les répulsifs car si le palu est peu présent, la dengue est présente un petit peu dans certaines campagnes !
Le maître mot, recouvrir son corps et utiliser des répulsifs (pour les parties découvertes), surtout de 17 à 18 heures, vers la tomber de la nuit, et la nuit utiliser des moustiquaire si tu es à la campagne(et sans être à l'hotel) !
Pas de panique, quand la mousson est finie, les risques sont quand mêmes infimes, encore plus en utilisant les répulsifs !
EN janvier et avril dernier en Isaan, j'ai été piquée des dizaines de fois aux pieds (je portais des tongs) et je n'ai rien eu, mais la prochaine fois en septembre, j'utiliserais un peu plus les répulsifs sur mes pieds, pour être moins piquùée quand même !😛

Encore une petite question, peut-on mangé de tout ou faut-il eviter certains aliments type légumes??

s'en aperçoivent ! Les pattes rayées, avec un tel signalement, je ferais attention la prochaine fois si ils ont les pattes rayées !
Ce que j'ai remarquée, c'est que vers les 18 heures, mes pieds ont été piqués (sans doute la journée), heureusement je n'est pas était malade !
Mais la prochaine fois, pschitt pschitt de répulsifs sur mes pieds, car les moustiques thailandais doivent les trouver très "apaitissants" !😛

Je te conseille de faire le vaccin contre l'hépatite A. Il est maintenant même conseillé pour les voyages en Europe, et une fois fait, c'est bon pour la vie!
NB : il n'a rien à voir avec le palu, mais ça je suppose que vous aviez compris 😛

pour le vaccin, tu téléphones à ton médecin, qui te fera 2 piqûres à un mois d'intervalle. Peut-être qu'il te fera la prescription et que tu devras aller acheter toi-même le produit en pharmacie juste avant d'aller chez le médecin, ou bien le médecin l'aura déjà, ça dépend des médecins.
C'est un vaccin "banal" donc ton médecin habituel saura sans aucun doute ce qu'il faut faire.
Il y aura encore une troisième piqûre un an après la première (mais dès que tu as fait les 2 premières ca sera bon pour ton voyage).
Tant que tu fais les 2 piqures avant ton départ c'est bon... mais tant qu'à faire, pourquoi attendre? A toi de voir 😉
Pour le visa je ne sais pas, téléphones à l'ambassade de Thailande et tu auras l'info.

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.

I have several chronic conditions (including asthma and related ones), and I’m planning to travel for a year across different countries.
Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.
I plan to bring my prescriptions with the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), as well as the original packaging (even though it’s a nightmare, but from what I understand, it’s necessary). But I’m not sure if that’s enough...

The contagion seems to be spreading.
