Voila du 5 au 12 novembre dernier nous étions au Barcelo Solymar, endroit vraiement parfait, bonne bouf, plusieurs bars dont un ouvert 24 sur 14 de très grande piscines, belle plage, hotel très propre, a 10 minutes de la ville a pieds, bon service. Si tu désires plus d'informations n'hésite pas à communiquer.
Nous sommes allé à Varadero et on est resté a Las SIrenas (qui est maintenant SIrenas Coral) et c'est un Hotel tres chaleureux, la bouffe est bonne si on est pas trop difficile les gents sympathiques.😉 Puis, pour ce qui est des activités, il y en a plein pour tous les goûts.
Nous avons été a LA Havane (sans difficulté), SAnta Clara, MAtanza, Cardenas en deux jours! (nous avons louer une voiture), Mais l'hotel offre des tours organisés de la HAvane, mais bon ce n'est jamais comme d'y aller a ton rythme.

En réponse à votre demande d'information sur votre voyage à Varadero, nous y sommes allés 2 fois et nous prévoyons y retourner encore cette année. Nous regardons pour le Tryp Peninsula. L'an dernier, nous avons discuté avec un couple qui était à cet hôtel et d'après ce qu'ils nous disaient, cela rencontrait ce que nous recherchons.
Pour le voyage dernière minute, les meilleurs prix sont après le jour de l'An. Les 2 semaines suivant le jour de l'An, vérifiez les prix dans les journaux et vous verrez comme ils sont à la baisse comparativement à présentement.

Nous sommes allés au Barcelo Solymar et personnellement il était très bien à mon avis. Mieux qu'à Villa Cuba, où nous sommes allés aussi, qui est tout près. Il est vrai que vous êtes à 5 minutes du centre ville.
Maintenant, il y a une navette (Autobus) qui vous conduit où vous voulez pour la journée (5$) entre 9 hres et 21 hres. Cette navette fait tout le tour de la péninsule. Vous remarquez les endroits(numéro) où vous voulez arrêter et quand vous recommencez le tour, vous débarquez à l'endroit (numéro) choisi pour magasiner et quand vous avez fini votre magasinage, avec votre coupon que vous présentez au chauffeur, vous rembarquez et continuez jusqu'au prochain endroit que vous avez choisi. C'est ce que nous avons fait en avril 2004 et nous avons beaucoup aimé.
Aussi on peut voir tous les hôtels de la péninsule, leur apparence. Comme l'hôtel Le Gran Lido, endroit où les exercices sont faits le samedi a.m. avec Josée Lavigueur. Cet hôtel est très luxueuse mais très cher.
😉 Bonjour, nous sommes allés en Février 2003 à Varadero à l'hotel BRISA DEL CARIBE. L'ambiance y est jeune et c'est animée le soir. Il y a 2 belles piscines et 3 beaux restaurants et plusieurs Bars (ce qui est bien....😉) tiens je te mets quelques photos.... A plus. Mich

Pour Varadero, c'est la 4° fois que nous y allons.
Une année nous sommes allés au Barcelo Solymar que nous avons bien aimé; une autre année nous sommes allés à Villa Cuba qui a été très moyen pour nous. Tout cela dépend toujours de vos attentes.
En janvier 08, nous retournons au Playa Caleta, pour une deuxième année consécutive.😉
C'est un hôtel de 255 chambres. La propreté, la cordialité, le coté familial et surtout la nourriture sont des choses que nous considérons beaucoup et cela rencontre tout à fait nos attentes.
Les spectacles sont bons et parfois très drôles.
La plage a un peu de coquillages et une descente pour aller à l'eau parce que les vagues sont venues chercher le sable mais nous nous accomodons très bien avec ça. L'an passé, nous sommes allés en ville par la plage qui donne environ 2 ou 3 km. Ça se fait très bien, surtout que nous pouvons bronzer tout en marchant.
Nous avons bien aimé cet hôtel et je n'ai pas peur de le recommender à nos amis.
Bon voyage et profitez en bien parce que le premier voyage est le plus important.
Nous, c'est notre 10° voyage et on en fait un à chaque année; c'est bon pour le moral.

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Do you know of any nice, budget-friendly hotels with activities in Mexico? Or Zanzibar is also an option for me, same idea.

I’m tired of spending hours and hours searching for all-inclusive hotels for my first trip to Mexico to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). I’m not necessarily aiming for the cheapest resort, but since it’s spring break week and everything’s already pricier, 5-star options are probably out of the question. Thanks!

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
