Moi même, je reviens du Pérou où j’ai été bénévole dans un foyer qui accueille des enfants orphelins, maltraités, abandonnés, … l'assos s'appelle Hatun Sonqo (Grand Cœur en quechua) et le Foyer se trouve à Pomacanchi, petit village à 3700m d’altitude situé à 105km au sud de Cuzco. Dans une maison en location elle essaie de subvenir à leurs besoins physiques, psychiques et affectifs.
Il s’agit d’une petite structure (2 personnes) qui a besoin de bénévoles pour mener à bien sa tâche.
Hatun Sonqo accueille des bénévoles tout au long de l’année, pour du soutien scolaire (tous les enfants sont scolarisés), cours d’anglais, organisation d’activités éducatives et de loisirs, etc…
Les compétences requises : être majeur être motivé être en bonne santé
Certains des enfants ont des problèmes particuliers nécessitant l'intervention des personnes spécialisées (paralyse cerebral, capacité d'apprentissage diminuée, dyslexie...)
J'ai été bénévole pendant 10 semaines de septembre à novembre 2007 au sein de cette organisation. Et cette expérience sera sans doute une des plus marquantes de mon existence...

en amazonie, Jean-louis travaille bien souvent avec son propre argent dans 2 villages à 5 heures de bateau de Iquitos . Son programme concerne les enfants sur le plan jardin d'enfants, ecole et surtout santé.
Il a besoin qu'on l'aide . Il a mis sur pied un sejour solidaire dans la foret dont les guides sont issus de ces villages et les benefices servent à ses projets toujours dans ces villages
En faisant un sejour de 5 ou 7 jours avec lui, TOUT l'argent sera consacré aux villages

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
