Je suis présentement un étudiant dans le domaine Monde et je me demandais comment on fait pour mettre sur pied un projet d'envergure internationale? Quel genre de contact doit-on avoir? Et avec qui doit-on communiquer.
C'est un gros projet (et je parle en connaissance de cause), mais réalisable si tu es passionné des rencontres et ouvert aux autres cultures. avec trois autres montréalais nous avons réunis 17 personnes pour un projet international que nous avons mené en Chine.
Tes questions sont un peu étranges:
Dans quel pays veux-tu aller?
As-tu déjà participé à une mission d'envergure internationale ou voyagé?
Quel genre d'organisationou projet veux-tu mettre sur pied?
Quelles mission aura ton organisation?
car il faut en premier lieu que tu sois passionné d'un pays et déterminé à partager avec les gens de ce pays le désir de vaincre un problème social ou autre... Les occidentaux ne sont pas maîtres du monde et il n'y a aucune personne mieux placée que quelqu'un qui a grandit dans le pays où tu iras pour te suggérer et t'aider. Solidarité et partage!
Tu dois te déplacer et aller rencontrer les gens sur le terrain, ils t'aideront avec plaisir...
Bonjour, en fait, ce n'est qu'un projet que je compte réaliser dans quelques années, mais je m'informe pour savoir si mes rêves sont réalisables. Tu m'as posé quelques questions :
Dans quel pays veux-tu aller?
Pour l'instant, ce qui m'intéresse le plus ce sont les pays d'Amérique du sud ou central. Je n'ai pas de pays en tête encore, je devrai sans doute accentuer mes recherches pour voir quelles sont les besoins des pays de ces deux grandes régions.
As-tu déjà participé à une mission d'envergure internationale ou voyagé?
J'ai voyagé à plusieurs reprises. J'ai notamment fait le tour du Mexique et du Costa Rica.
Quel genre d'organisation ou projet veux-tu mettre sur pied?
Tout dépend encore de ce que le pays que je vais cibler aura de besoin.
Finalement, j'aimerais savoir si des études sont nécessaires pour pouvoir réaliser un tel projet. Merci
Effectivement, ce genre de projet demande au moins un an de préparation (+ les visites préalables dans la région souhaitée et la rencontre de différents contactes). Tous les rêves sont réalisables, les études sont toujours des préalables qui peuvent êtres utiles mais non essentiels ...le principal est l'ouverture au autres, car il n'y a de solution pour aucune grandes problématiques qui peut venir d'une seule personne...
Bien sûr si tu interviens par rapport aux femmes, par exemple (ou autre..) il est important de bien comprendre les problématiques et de lire des textes qui s'y rapportent question de réflechir à la question et son contexte large.
même si g des dîplomes universitaire, je crois que quelqu'un d'ouvert, de critique et d'organisé qui n'a pas peur d'aller vers les autres et de foncer peut réaliser les mêmes choses voir plus que celui qui est couvert de dîplomes (mais les subventions de notre cher gouvernement canadien seront peut-être plus dificile à avoir..)
Dans les régions où tu veux aller il existe une multitude de coopératives ou organisations, pourquoi ne pas t'allier avec l'une d'elles pour commencer?
J'ai piloté une association qui était en partenariat avec La Rochelle durant 5 ans et nous avons fait des envois humanitaires et des échanges intéressants avec l'appui de nos autorités respectives. I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

After 8 months of volunteering in Tanzania at a center for street children, I’d like to go back for a year in the same kind of role—this time in Burkina. We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
