Nous travaillons avec une asso togolaise AVECS TOGO qui acceuille tout au long de l'année des bénévoles occidentaux, afin de s'investir dans les projets mis en place sur le terrain.
Nous travaillons ainsi dans plusieurs domaines (santé, éducation, alphabétisation, environnement...)
Cet été, nous avons 2 chantiers programmés : * l'environnement sera du 07 au 28 juillet , replantation de teck, d'eucalyptus... (1100 plants au cours de l'été dernier) et * le soutien scolaire pour les eleves de primaires du 4 au 25 aout (26 aout : cérémonie de remise de dons aux enfants)
Le reste de l'année nous avons d'autres projets en place : * aide dans un centre de santé (pour les bénévoles qualifiés uniquement) * aide aux devoirs pour des enfants de niveau primaire * animation socio culturelle à l'orphelinat (enfants de 0 à 7 ans)

Nous sommes deux étudiantes, une en psychologie et une en école d'infirmière, qui cherchent une association pour partir au mois d'août 2011 en Afrique, dans le cadre d'un projet professionnel. Chacune dans notre branche, nous souhaitons apporter nos connaissances acquises lors de nos formations pour des projets concrets d'aide aux populations dans le besoin. Cette future première expérience humanitaire est particulièrement réfléchie de notre part et s'est développée au cours de nos diffèrents activités. En effet nous avons toutes les deux eu l'occasion de travailler auprès de publics à problématiqes. Chacune de notre côté, nos stage et emplois à caractère social et paramédical (maison d'acceil spécialisée, unité de soins, psychiatrie, prison, centre éducatif fermé) nous ont permis de développer une capacité d'adaptation. Le respect, l'altérité et l'altruisme sont des valeurs prédominantes chez nous, c'est pourquoi nous avons décidé de ce projet ensemble. Nous espérons donc pouvoir apporter une aide complémentaire sur le plan psychique et physique.
Notre motivation est entière cependant nous avons des difficultés à trouver une association.Nous nous tournons vers vous dans l'espoir que vous puissiez nous aider et nous orienter.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year. Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.). Does anyone know of any contacts, please? Looking forward to your replies. Have a great evening!

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...
Help us give away at least one of these wheelchairs, turning your trip into a solidarity and humanitarian action.

I’m looking to connect with the community involved in humanitarian travel in Senegal
Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
