J'ai souvent passé devant sa plage que j'ai trouvé petite et en pente.
Ici, au Québec, cet hôtel est vendu comme étant un 3-1/2*...
As-tu fait une recherche avec les mots Puerto Plata? Il y a eu souvent des discussions à ce sujet.
L'hôtel est situé à Playa Dorada à environ 15-20 minutes de Puerto Plata. Tu peux aller très facilement aussi à Sosua. Toutes tes visites peuvent se faire pour quelques pesos en gua-gua.
Salut cours! Je suis alle a Puerto Plata en nov03.J'ai bien aime cet endroit. Les gens sont chaleureux et tres gentils.
Je ne sais pas ce que tu cherche comme hotels mais comme lapuce te le dit nous au Quebec le Jacktar est cote 3 1/2. Je suis passe devant par la plage et ce n'est pas ce qu'il y a de plus beau! J'etais a l'Iberostar Costa Dorada 5* et tout etait vraiment super! Nous pouvions alle a Playa Dorada (magasin, bars et boutiques) par la plage, environ 15 mins. Nous sommes alle aussi dans la ville de Puerto Plata(en taxi) environ 10 mins.
Ce que j'ai trouve bien c'est qu'avec les taxis il t'offre un service de guide touristique rendu a Puerto Plata. Nous l'avons utiliser et c'est genial! Le guide t'amenes ou tu veux et t'expliques un peu les choses de la region.

Je pars moi aussi le 25 mars dans ce même hotel. Apparemment, il n'y a pas trop d'infos sur cet hotel mais il est vrai qu'il n'est pas coté de la même façon au Canada par exemple. Après avoir lu pas mal de messages sur ce forum, l'iberostar parait etre l'endroit idéal ( mais ce n'est pas tout à fait le même budget non plus ). Enfin nous verrons bien.
Perso je suis déjà allé 1 fois en RP, du coté de Punta Cana, et c'était super, rien à redire.
Je reviendrais vers toi si j'aiplus d'infos sur l'hotel.

c 'est super nous allons peut etre nous rencontrer à l hotel occidental JT c'est vrai qu'il n'y a pas beaucoup de renseignement sur cet hotel et àapparament il n 'y a qu'un seul voyagiste qui le propose cela me fait un peut peur !! enfin nous verrons bien j ai chosis le nord car plus montagneux et peut etre plus de choses à visiter tu es d'ou ? si cela n et pas indiscret ?

Moi je reviens de Puerto Plata, j'etais à l'hôtel Villas Doradas et aucun soucis c'était parfait...
Par contre nous avons rencontré quelques français lors des excursions que nous avons fait, qui était eux au JT et ils n'etaient pas du tout content...
Ils étaient partis avec promovacances et disainet qu'il n'y avait aucun correspondant de promovacances sur place et surtout personne qui comprenanit le francais...
Ensuit ils nous ont dis qu'il ont tous demandé un changement de chambre et que leur nouvelle chambre etait encore pire...
Ce qu'ils nous ont dit, c'est que l'hotel avait 24 ans et que le mobilier n'avait pas était changé depuis donc lits vraiment inconfortables, etc...
Ensuite un truc a savoir aussi, ne prenez jamais les excursions à cet hotel, ils nous ont dit que l'excursion que nous avions payé 28 $ au centre commercial à 2 pas coutait 100$ au JT...
Voilà tous ce que je sais sur le JT...
Et ce côté de l'ile est genial pour les excursions....

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). I’m tired of spending hours and hours searching for all-inclusive hotels for my first trip to Mexico to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

However, online, I’ve found two sites for making this reservation:
The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
