J' ai un grand père en fin de vie et si il lui arrive quelque chose , y a t il une assurance pour me rapatrier pour ses obsèques'.

si vous êtes titulaire de carte(s) bancaires(s), regardez de près le(s) contrat(s). Vous êtes souvent déjà assuré "rapatriement" dans le cadre des assurances carte bancaire. Vous pouvez aussi vous renseigner auprès de votre banque pour être plus sûr.

Bonjour à tous.. Moi aussi je prépare un voyage pour octobre et dans mes recherches j'ai effectivement découvert que mon assurance habitation comprend le rapatriement et d'après mon conseillé MAAF, elle serait très complète.
Par contre j'ai du mal à trouver une assurance annulation qui couvrirait les frais d'avion et d'agence en cas de maladie grave de mes ascendants et descendants (et non pas uniquement en cas de décès)
Avez vous des infos dans ce sens ???

Normalement, l'assurance annulation se prend avec le billet(si l'on veut).Pour l'assurance rapatriement des mutuelles c'est inter mutuelles assistance, il faut demander à la MAAF la carte ad-hoc, c'est compris dans l'assurance, ça m'a servi une fois et ils sont très efficaces(soins , logement, rapatriement...).
Oui prendre l'assurance avec les billets.... Ok mais et le remboursement des frais de l'agence vietnamienne qui organise le séjour ??

"Nous garantissons le remboursement des frais non récupérables restant à la charge de l’Assuré occasionnés par la modification
ou l'annulation d'un Voyage Garanti .
L'indemnisation de l'Assuré est due dans les seuls cas suivants :
• Une Altération de Santé Garantie ou le décès de l'Assuré , son conjoint, son concubin, leurs ascendants (maximum 2ème
degré), descendants (maximum 2ème degré), frères, soeurs, beaux-parents, gendres, brus, beaux-frères, belles-soeurs, demifrères,
demi-soeurs, compagnons de voyages nommés sur le bulletin d'inscription, associés ou toutes autres personnes
amenées à remplacer temporairement l'Assuré dans le cadre de ses activités professionnelles."
A voir avec votre banquier? Il faut une carte Premier au minimum, je pense.

J'ai demandé à Europe assistance. Cela reste très flou et incertain au téléphone, pour la prise en charge des frais de l'agence Vietnamienne. Je vais attendre le devis écrit.
Et la CB est peut etre une bonne piste à creuser...

Mais effectivement vous avez intérêt à demander à votre banque (si vous ne l'avez déjà) le livret "assistance et assurance" correspondant à votre carte bancaire, vous y trouverez beaucoup de réponses.

j'ai contacté ma banque concernant l'assurance annulation et mon conseiller me dit qu'avec la CB Visa premier ou gold, ils remboursent la totalité des frais restant à la charge du client, en cas d'annulation, avant le départ, pour décés ou maladie des ascendants et descendants et la même chose mais proratisé sur le temps à restant à faire en cas de rapatriement et tout cela dans la limite de 5000 € par an et par assuré.
Avez vous déjà fait appel à cette assurance ??
Je suis un peu dans le même cas, j'ai souscrit à Chapka Assurance mais je ne sais pas si c'est valable pour les belges.

Je ne connais pas l'Asie, mais en Amérique du sud il y a toutes sortes de chaînes médicales privées qui fonctionnent comme des mutuelles. On y souscrit sur place. Je pense que ça sera pareil pour toi. Précise le pays afin d'avoir des réponses plus pertinentes de résidents.
Il y a aussi le rapatriement sanitaire si tu as une carte VISA premier. Il faut discuter des modalité avec ta banque.

La plus simple des CB visa offre, pour un séjour de 90 jours maxi, les prestations d'une assurance qui couvre énormément de choses, y compris le rapatriement sanitaire - Demander le formulaire au numéro de téléphone figurant au dos de votre carte , - on vous adressera par courrier ou par mail tout le descriptif des garanties. - Cette assurance, on ne la paye pas, elle est payée par votre Banque, mais beaucoup l'ignorent et souscrivent des assurances complémentaires qui font double emploi..... - On est couvert aussi comme frais médicaux, intervention, rapatriement, avion manqué, etc... par notre assurance - assistance de Mutuelle, et par l'assurance de notre voiture à partir du moment où vous êtes à plus de 50 kms de votre domicile (même sans la voiture) -

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.
After all that, and even though I’ll obviously contact the relevant authorities in each country (fingers crossed for a response 😛), here’s my question:

I have several chronic conditions (including asthma and related ones), and I’m planning to travel for a year across different countries.
Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.
I plan to bring my prescriptions with the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), as well as the original packaging (even though it’s a nightmare, but from what I understand, it’s necessary). But I’m not sure if that’s enough...

We, as parents, have been through it in Egypt with pretty bad cases, but we’d really like to avoid that for our daughter.
