Nous sommes partis du 23/7 au 12/8/13 et nous avons passé des vacances dans un paysage de carte postal. L'hôtel est correct : un grand merci à Euris (à la réception) qui c'est très bien occupé de nous. Les chambres sont propres et la nourriture est bonne. Nous nous sommes régalés d'ananas et de fruits de la passion. Nous avons eu du beau temps et si de temps en temps un nuage passait par là, il était même le bienvenu. La plage est magnifique, mer chaude et turquoise et vous donne aucune envie de fréquenter les piscines. N'hésitez pas à sortir de l'hôtel, à droite de la plage vous pouvez partir à pied au restaurant El Cabito (+ ou - 30mn le chemin est indiqué). Il surplombe une falaise où, en dégustant un mojito ou un jus fruit frais sur la terrasse, vous aurez une vue imprenable. A gauche en sortant de l'hôtel (en longeant la plage) vous pouvez rejoindre le village de Las Galleras où vous pouvez déguster une très bonne pina colada au bar de la plage ou aller manger "Chez Denise" (env 30€ avec les boissons pour 3 pers.). Pour les souvenirs, allez chez Fanny ou Samy. Les Dominicains sont toujours souriants et très gentils. Pour les excursions, nous avions pris contact avec Joel et Ludi Excursions (ils ont un site internet) beaucoup moins chers qu'à l'hôtel. Ils nous ont permis de visiter la région en quad à travers les champs de bananes, d'ananas, les arbres à cafés, les villages de pêcheurs... pour finir sur une plage magnifique (playa Rincon) ! Nous sommes également partis voir la cascade El limon. Ils nous ont emmenez sur des plages sauvages (Playas Madame et Fronton) où Joel nous a grillé des langoustes "à tomber" tellement elles étaient bonnes. Le tout en évitant le tourisme de masse avec deux guides francophones extraordinaires. Si vous cherchez un endroit tranquille avec des paysages magnifiques et verdoyants, n'hésitez plus vous l'avez trouvé ! Si vous souhaitez faire la fête avec des hôtels collés les uns aux autres, vous vous trompez d'endroit !
Nous allons au Grand Paradise à Samana en novembre 2013. Quand je regarde les commentaires sur Trip Advisor je suis très surprise d'en lire quelques uns très négatifs et provenant particulièrement des québécois et j'en suis. Par contre, nous on aime les endroits calmes et différents et fréquentons souvent ceux ou il y a des européens, nous ne sommes pas du genre Punta Cana (gros resorts). En ce qui concerne la propreté des chambres, comment est-ce? Je ne m'attends pas à un 5 étoiles comme Cayo Levantado qu'on a fait en 2010 pendant 2 semaines mais nous avons aussi fait le El Portillo en 2010 et c'était très bien. Est-ce que le Grand Paradise ressemble au El Portillo? Quelle chambre conseille-tu, nous avons pris avec un surplus pour vue sur la mer? Merci de me répondre et j'aurai d'autres questions d'ici là.

Je ne peux pas faire de comparatif avec les autres hôtels car je ne les connais pas. Nous avions une chambre standard, pas trés récente mais propre. Ce qui nous suffisait, vu le peu de temps que nous avons passé dans la chambre. Si vous avez pris avec vue sur mer, je pense que ce doit être un bungalow qui est sur 2 étages. Trés bon séjour à vous.

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Do you know of any nice, budget-friendly hotels with activities in Mexico? Or Zanzibar is also an option for me, same idea.

4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
