Bonsoir, je souhaite réserver un séjour au Sofitel palm beach de Djerba, mais je ne sais pas par qui passer. Thomas Cook propose un séjour de 2 semaines en pension complète très alléchant, mais le mode de réservation me laisse perplexe 🤪.
Quelqu'un est-il déjà passé par ce T.O.??
Nous partons avec T. Cook 2 semaines au Sofitel à Djerba.
Les réservations ont été faites par le biais de l'agence, de façon classique.
Je ne vois pas quelles inquiétudes vous pouvez avoir.
En plus, les prix sont particulièrement intéressants par rapport aux autres TO.
Nous avons en effet économisé 500 €/personne sur 1 séjour de 15 jours avec les mêmes prestations, ce qui est fort appréciable.
Je ne pense pas que vous devez avoir d'hésitations.

Pas d'accord avec toi Rawdon. Tu pourras "négocier" UNE chambre pour une ou deux semaines et tu pourras obtenir 20% de réduction sur les prestations hotelières. Trés bien... mais un TO qui se respecte négociera 100 ou 200 chambres sur plusieurs mois et obtiendra des prix qui te laisseraient réveur.
Même en tenant compte que le TO prendra une marge confortable, il sera moins cher.
Il faut aussi penser à l'avion. Le TO réserve X dizaines de places et les payent même s'il n'arrive pas à les vendre, et ce à un prix que tu ne pourras jamais obtenir.
Et sur place, à l'hôtel, si celui-ci fait du surbooking, tu seras le premier à trinquer.
Je n'ai jamais travaillé de prés ou de loin avec un TO, mais par contre j'ai beaucoup voyagé.

J'ai voyagé un peu partout dans le monde avec eux sans avoir un seul problème.
Thomas Cook est un groupe Allemand, certainement le plus important TO Européen avec sa filiale Neckermann.
Thomas Cook a racheté, il y a huit ans environ, le groupe Français Havas.
Comme je le dis à Rawdon, je n'ai jamais travaillé de prés ou de loin avec un TO, mais par contre j'ai beaucoup voyagé.

Bonjour et merci de votre réponse. Ce qui me gène c'est le fait de ne pas pouvoir réserver sur internet, d'être obligée de le faire par téléphone ou en agence avec des frais en plus qui ne sont pas précisés. De plus je n'arrive pas à afficher les CGV.
Mais vos commentaires m'ont rassurée, je suis jusqu'à présent passée par Last Minute ou Jet Tours et je suis ravie de lire vos appréciations positives sur Thomas Cook.
je m'incruste dans la discution, je suis Belge et je peux vous dire que Thomas Cook existe depuis des années ici en Belgique sous le nom Neckermann qui a son propre réseau d'agence et via Thomas Cook dans les agences traditionnelles.
Nous partons chaque année avec eux et n'avons jamais eu de problème. Que du contraire, lorsque problème il y a, cela est plutot rassurant de savoir d'un groupe comme celui ci est derrière vous pour vous soutenir.
Vous pouvez comporer ce TO avec FRAM.

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). I’m tired of spending hours and hours searching for all-inclusive hotels for my first trip to Mexico to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). I’m not necessarily aiming for the cheapest resort, but since it’s spring break week and everything’s already pricier, 5-star options are probably out of the question. Thanks!

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

However, online, I’ve found two sites for making this reservation:
The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
