Après bien des hesitations sur notre destination pour notre voyage de noces, notre choix c'est finalement porté sur les maldives. Apres avoir parcouru des pages et des pages de differents forums, je me sens encore plus perdue qu'au depart.
Ou partir aux maldives? Nous souhaitons partir debut janvier, mais nous ne savons pas dans quel hotel. Que pourriez vous nous conseiller?
Nos criteres de choix principaux : hotels sympas (pas grand luxe avec clientele coincée :)), barriere de corail pas trop loin de la plage (nous ferons peut etre 1 plongée bouteille, mais surtout du snorkeling), y a t il des iles plus particulièrement d'ou on peut faire des safaris en snorkeling pour voir des raies ou des dauphins (voir du feeding? je sais, ca fait piege à touriste, mais j'aimerais voir au moins une fois ca dans ma vie).
J'ai lu pas mal d'avis positifs sur le velidhu, mais j'aimerais avoir d'autres avis sur d'autres hotels afin d'avoir du choix.
Tout dépend de ton budget : pour environs 2500 € / personne il me semble... il y a l'Angsana qui est vraiment super sympa.
Les bungalows sont design, la nourriture très bonne... pas trop d'italiens (donc de bruit - sorry pour les italiens !) et les plongés tuba pleines de poissons...
Un peu plus cher, mais plus luxueux, dans les 3000 € : le banyan tree est bien aussi.
Mon budget est d'environ 2500/2700 euros par personnes (pour le mois de janvier qui est une periode assez chere).
Je souhaiterais partir du coté ouest des maldives (plus de raies mantas à l'ouest en hiver 🙂). Je suis allée voir des photos de l'angsana, en effet il a l'air sympa, mais n'est il pas un peu trop "luxe"? Ce que je veux dire, c'est que nous souhaiterions aller dans un hotel assez decontracté, ou on ne soit pas forcement obliger de "saper" le soir pour le diner.

aucun problème : c'est très décontracté. Pas besoin de s'habiller le soir (bien entendu pas de maillot de bain au resto le soir), mais sinon, nous avons passé la semaine pieds nus !
le midi c'est buffet et le soir repas assis.
Ce qui est sympa c'est que l'ile de l'angsana et du banyan étant toutes proches et faisant partie du meme groupe, tu peux aller sans problème de l'une à l'autre.... navette gratuite - trajet 5mn.
il y a pas mal de requins dans le lagon et parfois (une fois dans le séjour) nous avons vus des dauphins. Tous les après midi, il y a le repas des raies au banyan !
Je ne saurais trop vous conseiller l'île de Rihiveli .
S'il existe un paradis sur cette terre, elle n'est pas loin d'y ressembler (un lagon magnifique, deux autres îles que vous pouvez rejoindre à pieds et sur une desquelles est organisé un barbecue de poisson une fois par semaine et ou à proximité se trouve une piscine " naturelle" ).
Au niveau budjet tout est compris . Vous pouvez faire 2 sorties snorkellings par jour si vous le désirez, du catamaran, du ski nautique, de la pêche à la palangrotte et bien d'autres activités encore .Un petit conseil:si vous faites du ski nautique n'hésitez pas à demander au moniteur de faire un petit détour pour voir les bans de dauphins. Eux seuls savent ou ils se trouvent.
Le restaurant en teck sur pilotis est remarquable tant au niveau de l'ambiance que de la nourriture .
Pour un diner en amoureux, commander le repas aux chandelles sur le sable pour déguster une langouste grillée est un moment magique.
Pour avoir visité d'autres îles, celle-ci est incomparable.
Quelquesoit votre choix, bon séjour aux Maldives .
Perso j'étais partie à Veligandu et ca magnifique plage de sable fin blanc... en janvier l'année passée! C'était grandiose, pas le grand luxe, juste toi l'océan et les poissons... le récif autour de l'hotel est super, les plongeurs sympa et les sites au environ vraiment sympa... Les raies manta se balladaient autour de l'ile et les petits des requins de récif a pointe noir était dans le lagon au bord de la plage 😉 Nous avons également fait une plongée géniale si tu aimes ca, avec une vingtaine de requins de récifs, des muraines, des thons, des barracudas, des poissons argents et j'en passe... Si tu veux de bonnes infos le spécialiste CH des Maldives c : www.manta.ch ensuite tu peux aller faire une reservation sur une autre agence, mais tu auras au moins choisi une bonne ile, qui correspond a tes attentes!

Apres verif, l'angsana est beaucoup plus cher que mon budget pour le periode de début janvier (plus de 3500€😕), je vais donc aller jeter un oeil sur le site de manta-voyage pour me faire une idee sur les iles.

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Do you know of any nice, budget-friendly hotels with activities in Mexico? Or Zanzibar is also an option for me, same idea.

I’m tired of spending hours and hours searching for all-inclusive hotels for my first trip to Mexico to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). I’m not necessarily aiming for the cheapest resort, but since it’s spring break week and everything’s already pricier, 5-star options are probably out of the question. Thanks!

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

However, online, I’ve found two sites for making this reservation:
The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
