Mon mari est insulino-dépendant et a un traitement pour les douleurs à base de codéine.
Ma question est la suivante le doliprane codéine est il interdit au Vietnam?
de plus nous devons faire escale à Dubaï, là aussi se pose le problème de ce médicament, même si le traitement est en soute est il interdit? .
Mon mari aura tous les documents médicaux nécessaires de son médecin.
Impossible d'avoir les renseignements auprès de l'ambassade du Vietnam.

Vous pouvez en trouver la liste en rentrant "médicaments interdits au Vietnam" dans le moteur de recherche.... je n'arrive pas à vous le transférer, et c'est fort long..
Je pense qu'au niveau codéine, considéré comme stupéfiant, il doit y avoir un souci - Vous avez sans doute l'ordonnance, mais je ne suis pas certaine que ça va suffire. -Regardez également la quantité : les Vietnamiens sont très à cheval là-dessus ( chez eux, on donne les cachets à l'unité pour un traitement donné) Et il y a déjà eu des tracas là-dessus, il y a quelques années pour une personne qui était partie avec pas mal de boites d'antalgiques...

J'ai trouvé ce site des douanes vietnamiennes, où vous pouvez poser une question ( en bleu ask a question) . Si vous n'obtenez pas la réponse je vous suggère de demander à l'ambassade ou au consulat vietnamien le plus proche, mais je pense que la codéine fait partie des substances probablement interdites, comme dans passablement d'autres pays.

De plus les autres médicaments doivent être quantifiés pour la durée du séjour, , cela va être plus compliqué pour l'insuline, dans la mesure ou celle-ci ne se trouve pas au Vietnam!!!

Depuis que je rentre et sors du Vietnam en avion, je n'ai JAMAIS vu un douanier fouiller des bagages, même quand on a une tonne, si ça peut vs tranquilliser.
Ceci dit, j'ai regardé des sites web "achat d'insuline au Vietnam" et il est écrit nulle part qu'il n'y en a pas, au contraire vu qu'un site écrit que c'est une maladie fréquente ici ; elle s'achète dans les hôpitaux et cliniques (par ex là Hanoi l'hôpital français ou SOS International)
Donc amener la vôtre dans vos bagages de soute (pas ds ceux de cabine) et au cas où, en acheter sur place au cas où ; ou alors vous mettez l'insuline dans une boite lambda et acheter des seringues.
Méfiez-vous de la vie, car les ratés ne vous rateront pas!

Mais l'insuline de mon mari ne se trouve pas au Vietnam, de plus on ne change pas d'insuline comme ça , les conséquences peuvent être graves.
Mon questionnement était sur les traitements à base de codéine, j'ai eu confirmation que cette molécule était interdite au Vietnam.
Donc je préfère ne pas l'emmener, c'est mieux que de se retrouver en prison!!! :-)

Nous avons visité le Vietnam il y a 4 ans et mon épouse suit un traitement assez lourd.
Les renseignements que nous avions récoltés étaient unanimes: ordonnance en anglais et la stricte quantité mentionnée.
Je ne pense pas que les conditions se soient durcies.
Le voyage commence dès qu'on en parle ...

Je suis bien d'accord avec vous ; une ordonnance en bonne et due forme et le respect de la quantité devraient être OK pour rentrer avec leur médicament, le Gvt viet sachant très bien qu'on ne trouve pas de tout dans le pays ; en plus, jamais vu des douaniers aussi cool que les viets ; quand je suis arrivé au Vietnam de Thailande, j'avais 2 chariots avec 4 grande cantines en fer + 2 grandes valises + un carton avec une bicyclette 10 vitesses, et ils m'ont laissé passer avec un sourire sans même me demander ce que j'avais dans tout ce barda

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.
After all that, and even though I’ll obviously contact the relevant authorities in each country (fingers crossed for a response 😛), here’s my question:

I have several chronic conditions (including asthma and related ones), and I’m planning to travel for a year across different countries.
Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.
I plan to bring my prescriptions with the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), as well as the original packaging (even though it’s a nightmare, but from what I understand, it’s necessary). But I’m not sure if that’s enough...
Have any of you been in this situation before? How does it work at customs—do I need to declare everything that exceeds the 3-month limit? Do I need a letter from my doctors?

The more time passes, the more we read about people getting sick—some with mild to severe traveler’s diarrhea, and many ending up in the hospital. We, as parents, have been through it in Egypt with pretty bad cases, but we’d really like to avoid that for our daughter. It’s the bite that transmits the disease.
There are so-called "furious" forms with aggression, but also forms without aggression.
