comme j'ai vu qu'avec l'expention de l'islam certains pensés que c'etait de leur devoir d'interdire l'ecole aus filles au TOGO par exemple.... on pourrait travailler sur ce projet

Salut, je rentre d'afrique et je viens de voir ton message et tes interrogations. Au Togo je doute que la langue arabe te serve a quelque chose surtout si tu vas comme moi en majorité dans les petits villages où cette expension dont tu parles, est inconnue.
En ce qui concerne l'éducation, biensur ils ont besoin d'un soutien scolaire au quotidien, mais au niveau des filles, il y a une reelle différence. Notamment au niveau de l'argent, car la scolarité d'une fille coute beaucoup plus cher que celle d'un garcon, car dans les petits villages la mentalités est de dire que les filles seront aux champs pendant que les hommes rapporteront de l'argent. Biensur la tendence serait de s'indigner devant mon propos mais c'est culturel la bas et il faut le respecter.. Je pourrait t'en dire plus si tu veux, je suis en train de faire un blog sur mon séjour donc si tu veux davantages d'info surtout pour éviter de faire fausse route en faite, n'hésite pas.

je devais partir au togo il y'a quequels années et notre projet etait basé sur l'education des filles face a l'expension de l'islam!

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
