White as snow, let's chat here! (page 2 of 13)

Snow can turn gray too if the sky is overcast 😕

Yeah, Catherine, it’s gonna be tough to get photos that stay bright white instead of turning gray 🤪 If we were allowed to post black and white, we’d have a "true" white.

Definitely.

I’d say we should try to get as close as possible to a, uhhh, really white white.

After that, it’s up to the voters to decide. 🙂

Otherwise, all kinds of white are allowed: flowers, an animal, whipped cream, a gorgeous white mane...

And the photos of white architecture...

Your village is white.

For clouds, it's the rest of the sky that enhances the white or gray. So, more like blue.

Statues and other sculptures rarely stay white because of pollution and pigeons.

I looked at my photos of Icelandic icebergs. Too blue... Glaciers are often gray.

But, as I said, it's the voters who will decide. 🙂

Sure, but not in black and white. (Valencia?)

Yes, but not in black and white. (Valencia?)

Yes, it’s Valencia 👍🏼 — it’s not B&W 😊 The others above are green 😄

Well, as someone who hates the cold and loves vibrant colors, I’m really out of luck this month, Agnès 😅. I’ll be hunting for that rare gem, but I doubt I’ll find anything decent. Though I’m even thinking of a "Treasure Hunt" through all my old photos 😄

Would a photo of a blank page from a notebook work, as long as it's in 24x36 format? Or maybe one blacked out with invisible ink?

This reminds me of a certain (sexist 🤪) ad

the others up there are green 😄

Oops, you're right—zooming in, you can see a bit of color.

I think the Taj Mahal looks pretty white from a distance... Isn’t Udaipur nicknamed the White City?

Lots of white in Brazil too.

Quite a few men in white djellabas in Oman, right?

I’m sure you’ll find plenty! !😉

A black page with beautiful white writing, or maybe a drawing?

A school blackboard filled with exercises in white chalk?

A Cape Dutch-style house? 😇

I don't know. I wasn't expecting that kind of question! 😄

On foam, clouds, and all that, sure. But not on the 99 shades of white. 😛

Statues and other sculptures rarely stay white because of pollution and pigeons.

Or else you have to take photos at night, with the light from the spotlights...😉

I’m sure you’ll find something! ;)

At first, I read "Blanc" and thought, "February vintage, nice—time to get tipsy!" But no, it’s actually about Snow, so mountains, though I’ve got a few ideas for that too. And now I see Taj Mahal, Udaipur, Brazil, and Oman, which also speak to me, so off to my hard drive!!

You remind me of a certain ad (sexist )

I don’t see the sexism in this ad. Just women who look happy and glowing from the brightness of their laundry!

At first, I read Blanc, February cuvée, okay, we can get tipsy !

If you win, you can start this thread for March !😛

Or else wash the statue with Persil and take the photo after! 😄

At first, I read 'Blanc,' February batch—okay, we can get tipsy!

If you win, you can start this topic for March! 😛

Not sure I want another win in a row 😛
