Hi there,
Whatever you do, don’t go through Evaneos because you’ll end up paying an agency twice. Instead, contact them to get quotes. They’ll put you in touch with local agencies. Nothing stops you from using them to organize your trip without signing anything. Just be aware that you won’t be able to use the services of any agency Evaneos recommends.
Like others, I’d advise you to go through Tout Pérou. For a "membership fee," you can organize your entire stay exactly how you want with the help of their advisors.
You’ll save money on domestic flights and buses. They’ll also connect you with drivers and guides on demand. They’ll book your train tickets for Machu Picchu (MP) and entrance tickets to the site. In your case, you might be able to skip the buses since I think you can get a minibus for your group at the same price. The driver and guide costs will be shared.
You can choose your hotels (with or without Tout Pérou’s help).
Check out the current post here:

If this setup doesn’t work for you, book directly with a local French-speaking agency instead.
(I can give you some names in a private message.)
The choice is yours!
