Opinions on choosing between two Norway cruise itineraries

Hi there, I'm looking at a cruise in the north.

Which one do you think is more interesting? Thanks

For a cruise at the end of August, I’d pick the southernmost one and save the other for another time at the start of the season, when the snow and ice haven’t melted yet and all the spring flowers are in bloom.

Also note that at the end of August you won’t get the midnight sun—it only lasts until around the third week of July if I remember correctly.

Hey! So for you, would September with way more fjords be the better option?

Both involve a lot of sailing through the fjords. It seems to me that the North Cape is more interesting in June.

I still haven’t decided yet 😅 But I’m probably leaning more toward the Norway one. I’m also looking at one on Explora...

One was going further north. I'm leaning toward the one with more fjords in September.

I still checked the Explora status match, though. Keeping an eye on it... but flights to Iceland are tricky from Marseille.

Hi Nathalie, Just passing by this old forum by chance, Personally, I’d go for this cruise since it has the advantage of a round-trip from Hamburg, which is an easy city to get to and pleasant to visit if needed, and it stops in Oslo, which is an interesting port of call. Happy cruising.
