Hi there

In my humble opinion, parking for free in Barcelona, especially in the summer... not a chance. That said, there are some cheap parking lots—around 7 € per day—guarded and well-located right in the city center, with the metro just a 2-minute walk away. I think it’s called "Parking Viajeros." Just google "cheap parking Barcelona." Have a great trip!

Hi there! First, some good news: parking is free on Sundays and public holidays (that’s something at least). A tip—you can download the SMOU app, which is really useful when you're in Barcelona.

Then, there are some reasonably priced parking options, like the SABA Lluis Companys parking lot. It’s handy if you’re exploring the city center on foot and it’s well secured. Cheap, but not free...

If you move a bit away from the center, it gets a bit easier. For example, in the Zona Universitaria, you can find free spots, and from there, you can get back to the center via metro line 3. Alternatively, you can park at the La Maquinista shopping center (Sant Andreu) and take metro line 1. Anyway, **avoid parking even for a few minutes in the yellow zones**: those are for deliveries or emergencies, and you risk at best a fine, at worst having your vehicle towed! !
