Due to a change in plans, I’ve got 3 weeks off starting at the end of May and another 3 weeks in early September.

I’d like to go back to Scotland either at the end of May or in September, but I’ve noticed that flight tickets are cheaper in September for Scotland since the long weekends in May will probably be pretty booked up, I think.

So I’m leaning more toward Scotland in September and keeping May-June open: Georgia, the Baltics, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Ireland, Scandinavia, or even farther afield (Sri Lanka, Canada, etc.). I’m open to suggestions!

I travel with a backpack, staying in youth hostels, small hotels, or bed and breakfasts.

I usually get around by train and bus, but for Scotland, Ireland, Scandinavia, and Iceland, I think renting a car would be more practical.

I love hiking, cultural visits, architecture, history, etc. I speak English fluently.

Je viens de réserver avec une amie nos billets d'avion pour cet été. Nous avons décidé de partir de Pise et de redécoller de Rome. Au milieu de ces deux villes, nous ne savons pas encore trop où aller et comment s'y prendre. Seuls "impératifs", visiter Florence et se trouver un p'tit coin paradisiaque dans le sud-est.

Nous avions pensé faire Pise -> Florence -> Rome -> Bari (et plus loin vers le sud si possible) -> Naples -> Rome.

Pourriez-vous me dire si c'est faisable ? On a commencé à regarder le site de trenitalia pour les trajets entre les grandes villes étapes. Mais y a-t-il des lieux à voir absolument entre Florence et Rome ? entre Bari et Naples ? Si vous connaissez la région de Bari, que nous conseillez-vous d'aller voir ?

Bref, beaucoup de questions pour le moment. Nous ne connaissons pas du tout l'Italie, ni l'une ni l'autre ! Du coup, je compte sur vous pour nous aiguiller un peu 🙂

bonjour tous le monde ! je suis un sénégalais passioné d'informatique et qui adore voyager mais surtout en voiture . alors je fais souvent la navette entre le senegal et l'italie et de ce fait j'ai pleins de "bagages" que je garde chez mon frere a milan . j'ai aussi decidé de faire le retour maintenant en voiture . j'achete une voiture en italie et j'y mets quelques ordi portable et quelques autres bricoles genre four micro onde des vetements des chaussures etc....une fois a dakar je revends la voiture si elle a moins de 5 ans, si c'est une vielle deglinguée(d'aprés notre cher president) je la revends en pieces detachées. vos conseils sont les bienvenus et en meme temps j'ai visté les blogs de papy et mamy et celui de janine jirou . merci a tous et vive VF 😉
