Here and there... my walks in the land of pralines, couques, and gosettes...
Hello, Moushika!
The photos of Westende Beach are such a nice change from La Panne, Ostend, and Knokke.
Still the sea, the sky, the sand... space... breathing freely!
Like this photo near Knokke-Le-Zoute toward the Zwin.
Thanks for sharing! 😄

Hello and thanks, Moushika, for the link about the "lockdown" update: let's stay civil without letting fear take over.
About the "STIB", here’s the link to the latest info: http://www.stib-mivb.be/index.htm?l=fr
While respecting proper "social distancing", going out to breathe, walk, run, or cycle from home is still allowed in Belgium (as long as we don’t gather or "loiter" in one place...) and it’s vital for many of us confined without a garden.
--The leaves bringing green to the trees, the colors of flowers, animals bustling about, birdsong...
Wishing you all the best.

Hello!
Thanks for the "confinement" clarifications.
Personally, I appreciate Sophie Wilmès' style (our prime minister in Belgium) in her recommendations:
"Citizens are required to stay at home to avoid as much contact as possible outside their immediate family: Except to go to work; Except for essential trips (going to the doctor, the grocery store, the post office, the bank, the pharmacy, to get gas, or to help people in need); Physical activity outdoors is allowed and even recommended. It can be done with family members living under the same roof and one friend. Outings with family living under the same roof are allowed. It’s important to keep a reasonable distance between individuals. Gatherings are not permitted." --Clearly, respecting distances between people is mandatory, but the directive "Stay at home!" (which is very popular in France, by the way...) is paired with "Go get some fresh air... while considering others"—much less coercive. --This approach, relying on the civic and ethical sense of Belgian citizens, might not last if the sunshine makes people forget the necessary precautions, but the gesture was made. Beauty can be found close to home... like these magnolias in full bloom! --Wishing you wonderful discoveries.

Thanks for the visit to the castle.
The light effects on the stone and wood were beautiful...
I also climbed the steps, and it was a real workout!

Hello, Moushika.
It was great to revisit the Meuse and the little houses of Dinant, the Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame.
Not far from the town, I often took the time to stop at a "viewpoint" overlooking the Freyr-sur-Meuse castle.
Also, the play of contrasts along the riverbanks...
Thanks for these lovely reunions!
