Booking tickets for Majorelle Garden
Another thanks, Elhine! That does reassure me, actually. And I’m still within the deadline to book (in a week or a bit more).
Marrakech: Is there a bus between the medina and Guéliz?
Thanks to Jean and Elhine for these practical tips. When you arrive, it’s true that you like to know which way to head to get off to a good start in unfamiliar territory.
Thanks again, and I’m personally thrilled that the travel forum site is back up and running too.
Booking tickets for Majorelle Garden
Tickets for entry to Majorelle Garden are only issued online via an official site
(though there are fraudulent sites out there). On the official site, they ask for legitimate info
(name, nationality, etc.). What made me go "hmm" was the request for both an email address
AND a password (with confirmation). Is this normal?
Thanks for your replies.

Is there a bus between Djema el Fna square and Guéliz? Where do you catch it?
Change: at Djema el Fna square or go to Bld Mohamed V?
Thanks!
Marrakech: taxi from the airport, what's the fare?
Thanks Kate for the details.
Yeah, the return trip will be at night, so I’ll arrange a taxi for that.
Marrakech: taxi from the airport, what's the fare?
Thanks a lot, Claire. I hadn’t seen that info.
And it’ll save me some hassle right when I arrive.
Thanks again.
Marrakech: taxi from the airport, what's the fare?
Mid-May: arriving alone (so, a "petit taxi"?) at Marrakech airport around 4:30 PM,
is it advisable to take a taxi at the airport (cost?) or is it wiser to book one through the hotel before departure (which would cost me 20 €)?
I think I’ve seen lower fares elsewhere (12 €?).
Destination: Riad Sijane near Djemaa El Fna square. Thanks!
Bangkok: bus between SAM station and Khao San Road
Thanks for the info, Enz!

A huge thanks, Songsam, for all these details—they’ll be super helpful!
Bangkok: bus between SAM station and Khao San Road
Thanks for your reply. It won’t be a pass (I’m only staying 3 days) but a map of the bus/BTS network.
My guesthouse: DDM House, is halfway between Khao San Rd and the river. The boulevard is the one leading to the bridge that crosses the river.

Bangkok: bus between SAM station and Khao San Road
That should work for the rest since I plan to buy a bus/BTS map. Siam is an interesting station: it's also close to the cultural center, I think.
Another question if I'm not overstepping: bus 15 ends a few stops past Democracy Monument. That terminus interests me because it's near my guesthouse. Except my guesthouse is on the other side of the boulevard, a bit closer to the river than Khao San Road (a boulevard you probably can't cross on foot). Is there a passageway, a street, or an underpass to get to the other side? (I'll be carrying luggage). Thanks.

Thanks Songsam. 1 to 2 hours for the trip—it’s longer than it was 15 years ago!!
I’ll make sure to do this route after 10 AM (especially since at Siam, if I remember correctly, you have to wait for the bus under the station—hello pollution!).
Thanks for the link!
While I’ve got you, one more question: is MBK closer to SIAM or National Stadium?
Bangkok: bus between SIAM station and Khao San Road
Sorry, I meant SIAM station, of course!
