It’s pretty much what we got. However, the fruit basket was still automatic. For the restaurant, just so you know, there are some boats where there are two seatings with assigned tables, and others where seating is open—you’ll find out once you’re on board. Have a great trip!

Hi there, The information I can share is a bit dated, since the last time I sailed in a suite with Costa was two years ago. It wasn’t on the *Pacifica*, but the perks don’t differ much. Breakfast can be served in your cabin—just fill out the form in your room. There are specific dishes for in-cabin service, but the selection is a bit more limited than in the restaurant. In the club restaurant, depending on the ship, there’s a small buffet and/or table service. On the *Favolosa*, which is very similar to the *Pacifica*, it was a buffet, for example. If you’re Gold status, it might be worth using the space reserved in the main restaurant—it’s very quiet, and the buffet is really varied. Meals can be served in your cabin with the daily menu, but only during the restaurant’s opening hours; otherwise, it’s room service. The butler sets the table just like in the restaurant. It’s a pretty rare perk, since more upscale cruise lines usually just offer room service unless you’re in the highest cabin categories. As for the spa, I’m not entirely sure, but I think the complimentary day when the ship is in port is tied to at least Gold status. Happy cruising!

Thanks for this lively report as always! This ship is the spitting image of the Grandiosa, which I took in YC in the Mediterranean, and I can assure you the calm you enjoyed was due to the low number of passengers. Because when these ships are full, it’s *super* crowded everywhere—even in YC, it’s really noticeable!

I’m not familiar with the *Esmeralda*, but I often travel with Costa and sometimes stay in a suite. I don’t know if the *Esmeralda* has a specific policy, but the suite restaurant is usually accessible as soon as you board—provided, of course, you arrive during opening hours, which are listed in the ship’s daily planner in your suite and on the Costa app. We’ve always done it this way and enjoyed the restaurant right from embarkation. I had the same problem on the Mediterranea in 2018, and we were really bothered throughout the cruise by the noise from the orchestra, even with the doors closed in the hallway. We had to endure it... for 22 days! The noise stopped at 1 AM. Have a great cruise

I think so because there are plenty of tables for two. But we did have to wait one evening depending on the next day’s departures. For lunch, no assigned table.

Hi there, I was in an en-suite cabin on the Fortuna last May. The ship is a bit dated, but the cabins are spacious with a nice bathroom featuring double sinks and a renovated shower with a fun, bright glass partition. You can use room service and even have the club restaurant meal served in your cabin if you prefer. The club restaurant operates on a two-service system, with no free seating. You’ll need to negotiate if the table isn’t suitable. Best regards

Nous sommes novices pour cette croisière et nous nous demandons, au moment de songer aux valises, quelle proportion il va falloir consacrer aux vêtements d'été c'est à dire à partir de quel moment nous quitterons les températures hivernales.
