Bonjour à tous, Après notre arrivée à Bangkok, nous comptons partir directement nous "reposer" du côté de Ko Chang. Nous sommes 4, 2 adultes et 2 petits enfants. Quelqu'un a de bons tuyaux à nous faire partager sur une plage idéale, des activités à faire avec des enfants? Nous cherchons un bungalow familial (2 chambres) et on sera là mi-janvier... merci. Isa

Ko Kardan, Ko Lipe, Ko Hin, Ko Kai, koh muk, Ko Rok

Malheureusement je n'ai beaucoup de temps une semaine +- et je ne sais pas lesquelles choisir, je pense pas que j'aurai le temps de toutes les visiter cependant si quelqu'un y a déjà étais, ce serai cool d'avoir de bons tuyaux

Autre chose, je ne trouve pas bcp d'info concernant l'hébergement sur ces îles merci pour tout vos Tips

un petit post pour vous demander quelques renseignements sur Phuket...

j'explique vite fait la situation: avec une amie on a deux billets gratuits pour phuket (donc jusque la tout va bien) mais le sousis c que nous partons dans une 10ène de jours et que je ne sais rien du tou sur cette destination.

Comme on a su que l'on partait que hier cela me fait un peu court pour avoir certains renseignements... Avec ma coequipiere on ce partage les taches: elle doit s'occuper de tous ce qui est logement, transport, papier... et moi mon role dans l'histoire c de savoir ce qu'il y a de bien a faire la bas, les endroits a voir, les chose a eviter...

Je sais que c un peu court mais j'espere que vous pourrez me renseigner

Je pars en Thailande pour 2 mois début octobre. Je voulais trop y aller donc g craqué g acheté le billet d'avion mais maintenant plus de sous pour la vie là-bas.

A votre avis pour combien je peux m'en tirer pour 2 mois? En mangeant correct mais hyper pas cher, en dormant dans des guest-house (chez l'habitant ça se fait ou pas?), et en voyageant bus et train, voir le plus souvent stop?

Merci beaucoup, et pour vous quels sont les sites INCONTOURNABLES de la Thailande (sur tt le territoire)?

Je suis toute nouvelle ici, je me suis inscrite pour vous demander votre aide ! Je prévois de partir avec un ami en Thaïlande, au mois d'octobre. Nous partirions avec juste nos sacs à dos et nos billets d'avion ! Nous ne connaissons pas dutout la Thaïlande, et espérons que vous pourrez nous aider à faire le meilleur voyage possible ! Je cherche des conseils, des bons plans (transport, hébergement, etc.), des lieux à voir absolument, etc. Bref, tout ce que vous pourrez me dire pourra m'aider !

en janvier 2005 je compte aller en Thaïlande pendant 2 semaines: 9 jours de circuit organisé pour découvrire les richesses de ce pays puis 5 jous d'extension balnéaire à Phûket pour la farniente et les plages.

je compte partir avec Kuoni, aussi est-ce quelqu'un a déjà effectué des circuits et/ou séjours en Thaïlande avec cet organisateur?

Je n'arrive pas à me décider pour une île en Thaïlande, les avis que je lis sur le sujet sont par trop contradictoires... Je cherche une île qui ne soit pas over-touristique (style Phuket ou Pattaya) mais qui ne soit pas non plus désertique (1 resto et 2 macaques). N'étant pas fan de plongée, la beauté des fonds marins m'importe peu, je recherche plutôt la beauté en surface ainsi que la possibilité de me promener afin d'entrecouper le "farniente". Le prix de l'hébergement importe peu, du moment que ça ne dépasse pas les 1500 bahts par nuit...

Il paraît qu'il y a moyen de trouver des coins pas trop bétonnés sur Ko Samet ou Samui, mais les Phi Phi ont l'air tellement belles... Et pourquoi pas Koh Lanta, finalement, quoiqu'on dise beaucoup de bien de Ko Chang! Donc, voilà, je ne sais pas du tout ou aller, en gros... :D

Bonjour Nous partons 1 mois en Thaïlande en janvier prochain. Nous aimerions notre périple dans une des îles du Sud...oui, mais laquelle? (éternelle question!) En fait, j'hésite surtout entre plusieurs en fonction du climat: Koh Samet à l'est de Bkk? Koh Phi Phi sur la cöte d'Andaman? Koh Samui sur le Golfe de Siam? bref, où est la meilleure MTO à cette période de l'année? PS: nous y ferons aussi de la plongée. Merci

après un périple vers chang mai, ayuthaya, kanchanaburi, nous envisageons un petit repos sur koh samet, pour la baignade et le corail. Au total 15 jours du 16 au 31 Août. Merci de vos conseils

Hi everyone, We’re heading to Thailand from February 3rd to 24th, as a couple (37 years old). We love local cuisine, street food, small restaurants, and quiet bars for a drink in the evening. We’re also big fans of turquoise waters and white sand beaches. Our planned itinerary looks like this:

Chiang Mai: 4 or 5 days to rediscover the city, temples, and markets. We already visited the Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai provinces a few years ago and loved it, so we’re heading back for a few days there :)

Bangkok: 3 days, with a day trip to Ayutthaya.

Then heading down to Trat province to enjoy the islands of Koh Chang, Koh Mak, and Koh Kood.

We’ve read that the southern islands (Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Phangan, Koh Lipe, etc.) are often packed this time of year, so we’re looking for quieter islands but with some accommodations and restaurants/bars. For reference, we really enjoyed Koh Rong Samloem, Koh Rong, Phu Quoc, and the Philippine islands. 👍 Does this itinerary fit well with what we’re looking for? Or do you have other suggestions for routes or islands to prioritize during this period? Thanks in advance for your tips!

Hi everyone! I’m reaching out because we’re planning a trip to Thailand next year (around March/April), and we’d like to visit Chiang Mai and then Krabi, plus a few islands near Krabi. We’ve been to Thailand before, 10 years ago, and this time, we’d just like to focus on 5 days in Chiang Mai and 10–12 days in the Krabi area. I’ll admit, I’m really struggling to pick an island near Krabi. We hated Phi Phi: dirty, noisy, and the food was gross… such a letdown! Which island would you recommend for snorkeling, nature walks, and beautiful beaches? Maybe we could also make a stop between Chiang Mai and Krabi—perhaps Sukhothai? Is it easy to travel between these three cities? Thanks so much for your help! 🙂

Hello everyone, My wife Fanny and I, along with our three kids (ages 10, 12, and 14), are planning a two-week trip to Asia during the February break. This would be our first big family trip, and we’re looking to mix discovery, a change of scenery, some relaxation, and cultural immersion. We want to avoid overly organized tours or over-touristed destinations. Over 20 years ago, Fanny and I used to travel as a couple with backpacks, especially in India and Mongolia, but things have surely changed a lot since then. Now, we’re torn between: • Thailand: for its diversity (beaches, temples, nature) and accessibility for a first family trip. • Laos-Cambodia combo: for a potentially more authentic immersion, but we’re wondering if it’s well-suited for kids. - Sri Lanka: it seems amazing and family-friendly? Is the political situation stable enough? We have a few questions:

Which destination would you recommend for this kind of family setup? What itineraries might work for two weeks without feeling too rushed?

Logistics-wise: can we travel with a round-trip flight ticket, book a few basic hotels, and improvise the rest once we’re there? Or do we need to plan everything in advance (transport, accommodations, activities) for this time of year?

Here’s the itinerary I’ve planned for this new trip to Thailand:

Arrival – 2 nights in Bangkok (any hotel recommendations? Very quiet, near Chinatown or by the river)

Train or taxi (which app should I use for Thailand?) to Phetchaburi – 2 nights (any hotel recommendations?)

Daytime train to Surat Thani – 1 night there (any hotel recommendations?)

Pick up the rental car and head to Khao Sok – 1 night there (any hotel recommendations?)

Drive to Ko Kho Khao – 3 nights – relaxation (any hotel recommendations?)

Drive to Phang Nga Bay – 1 night (any base recommendations?)

Excursion in the bay, then drive to Krabi – 2 nights (any hotel recommendations) or any other spot with beautiful, quiet beaches that you might know?

Return to Surat Thani – overnight train to Bangkok, then Ayutthaya (any hotel recommendations?)

Visit the site and transfer to the airport – sniff, time to head back!

If you have other suggestions, keeping in mind the trip’s vibe: beach time without crowds or entertainment, a bit of nature, a bit of culture, no stress... No domestic flights and charming accommodations (not at 150 € per night, even though the budget is reasonable!)

Not sure I’ll follow them all, but all your ideas are welcome! 😉

Bonjour, Quelqu'un sait-il s'il est possible depuis Sangkhlaburi ou de Thong Pha Phum de rejoindre Suphanburi quitte à y passer la nuit avant de poursuivre vers le nord ( Kamphaeng Phet); l'objectif étant bien sur d'éviter de repasser à Kanchanaburi ou de se retrouver encore une fois à Ayuttaya. D'avance Merci
