Je voudrais savoir si c'est possible de faire Mexico-Montreal en bus? J'ai vérifié sur le site greyhound Mexico-Canada mais je n'arrive pas à trouver un départ de Mexico? Je ne vois que des villes des E-U? Ou bien c'est moi qui est nulle pour la recherche ou bien on peu pas avoir un départ de Mexico city? Pouvez-vous me renseigner quelqu'un???

Je voudrais partir en espagne cet été surement sur la côte méditerranénne . je voudrais savoir où me renseigner pour trouver des trajets en bus à des pris interessants. j'habite en France en lorraine a metz je peux donc avoir des villes de départ comme Metz / Nancy/ Paris ou depuis le Luxembourg.

J'atteris à Agadir. On m'a dit qu'en hiver, il y avait peu de bus intervilles au Maroc.

J'aimerais savoir si c'est un bon plan de voyager en autobus au Chili et en Argentine malgré les distances: est-ce que cela revient à moins cher que l'avion? Et les paysages valent-ils la peine d'être parcourus en bus?

Est-ce faisable en 3 ou 4 semaines de séjour d'aller de Santiago de Chile à Ushuaia en bus et de remonter à Buenos Aires toujours en bus, tout en profitant de quelques étapes sur le chemin (Perito Moreno, Peninsula Valdez...)?

Et pour les chutes d'Iguazu depuis Buenos Aires: bus?

We know the timing might not be ideal because of Chuseok, but for various reasons, we didn’t have other date options. Plus, this period coincides with some festivals we’ve been eager to check out: the Andong Mask Dance Festival, the Jinju Lantern Festival, and the Hwaseong Festival in Suwon. Here’s our tentative itinerary:

09/19: Arrival in Seoul 09/20: Bus to Sokcho – explore the city or short hike 09/21: Seoraksan Park 09/22: Return to Seoul 09/23–09/26: Seoul 09/27: Bus or train to Andong – explore the city 09/28: Hahoe 09/29–10/01: Gyeongju 10/01–10/03: Busan 10/03–10/04: Jinju 10/05: Bus/train to Suwon 10/06: Suwon

So here’s my question: Given that several of our trips fall during or around festivals, will it be possible to book bus/train tickets once we’re there, or is there a risk they’ll already be sold out? Specifically for Seoul-Andong, Busan-Jinju, and Jinju-Suwon. I was thinking of booking everything on our first day in Seoul. And if it’s better to plan ahead, how should we go about it? I can’t seem to access the Korail (letskorail) or Kobus websites. Thanks in advance for your answers and help—and sorry for the long post! :)

My trip’s coming up, and I’m having a bit of trouble with three bus/minivan routes. Usually, I find everything at this time of year, but this time—yikes!

Sandakan → Sepilok: No app for this one—you just hop on bus #14 at the local terminal (pay cash on board). But where do I catch it, and where’s the stop??

Sandakan → Semporna: From what I’ve heard, it’s the Sida Express company (great name, right? 😄). Can’t book online, but apparently, you *have* to because there’s only one bus at 8 AM. Where do I board, and where does it drop me off?

Semporna → Tawau: Found this via AI—is it legit? No online booking, as far as I can tell. Minivans leave from a stop in the Jalan Hospital area, near the Milimewa supermarket, supposedly???? And when you arrive, does it drop you at **Sabindo Square** in Tawau?????

I’m planning to spend about twenty days in Réunion in November. I’d like to get around using the *car jaune* (2 € per ticket), but from what I’ve heard, it doesn’t cover the whole island. I’m not looking to head toward the ocean and the beautiful beaches—more toward the mountainous landscapes, even if I’ll just be admiring them from below. 😉 Maybe other buses go where I want to go. By the way, are there any relatively easy mountain hikes, and where?

But here’s the most important part: I don’t want to book anything in advance because I don’t know what my itinerary will look like—it’ll change depending on my mood. 3 days here, 5 days there, etc. On top of that, I’d like to arrange half-board stays with locals—not professionals—by approaching them and asking if they’d be willing to host me (overnight stay, breakfast, and dinner) for 30 € to 40 € per day.

What do you think? Does the price seem reasonable? And is it okay to take the initiative and ask Réunionnais directly?

The tourist office in Réunion told me that since November is peak tourist season, I should book without delay. 🤪

Departure is fast approaching. The decision is made—we’ll be returning to Laos via the north. We land at BKK at 7:30 AM. Buses to Chiang Rai leave in the evening starting at 5:30 PM. We’ll head straight to Chiang Khong afterward. Now, a lot of questions remain:

What’s the most budget-friendly way to get to Mochit 2 terminal? Can we buy the bus ticket the same day at the terminal, or do we need to book it in advance? So far, all my searches point me to 12GO for reservations. Where can we leave our luggage while waiting for the bus to Chiang Rai? In Chiang Rai, where can we take the bus from Bus Terminal 2 to Bus Terminal 1? Do you know the bus number? On Thailandee.com, the price is 70 THB/person, but on 12GO, the minimum price is 17 €—can you spot the mistake?

Do we need to redo the TDAC when we return to Thailand, or will the departure one still be valid?

I’ve got a question about buses, which we love using in Bangkok, but it’s always a bit of a challenge to figure out how to get around. We always (eventually) reach our destination because there’s always someone willing to help us find our way, but this year, I’d like us to be a bit more independent. We’re a bit old-school—we like traveling without phones for a real digital detox (no judgment, everyone travels how they like! :) ), so ideally, we’d find an up-to-date map of Bangkok’s bus network, but we don’t know where to buy one... We managed to get one back in 2015, but I think it’s outdated now, and during our last trips, we couldn’t find any...

And if traveling like this is really outdated, could you recommend a reliable app for buses? That way, we could plan our routes using the hotel’s Wi-Fi before heading out.

For part of the trip, we’ve decided to start in Bogotá, then head to Villa de Leyva, then Barichara and the Chicamocha Canyon, and finally arrive in Bucaramanga to catch a flight to Medellín. If bus routes aren’t available, is it easy to find taxis in the villages or at hotels? Thanks for your tips!

Well, I think the title says it all! I'm currently in Sapa and want to get to the Lao Cai border to head toward Kunming. For this route, I only see trains—one at 8:20 AM and the other at 9 AM. Are there any other means of transport to get to Kunming or go directly to Dali or Lijiang? Thanks for your quick replies since I'm leaving soon! Magos

So, I’m turning to you for advice on a trip I’m planning for March 2025, from the 7th to the 21st. I was thinking of a classic itinerary: Arrival in Delhi at 12:05 AM on Saturday, then taking a train in the afternoon to Agra. 2 nights in Agra 2 nights in Jaipur 2 nights in Pushkar 2 nights in Jodhpur 3 nights in Udaipur Then flying back to Delhi. The trip would mostly be by train (which we love) and bus. However, after reading various travelers’ comments, some cities seem less interesting, while others I hadn’t included—like Bundi and Jaisalmer—are catching my eye. But traveling by train and bus, I’m worried it might get really complicated. I’m not sure how to organize my stay anymore, especially since we love nature and peace and quiet… and I’m afraid of too much hassle if everything isn’t planned. Bonjour, Nous serons dans le Peloponnese du 4 au 20 août 2020. Arrivée à Athènes. Je serais avec mes enfants de 13 et 17 ans et souhaiterions alterner culture / visites et Balnéaire. Nous souhaiterions rejoindre le sud ouest du Peloponnese en bus. On pense à la région de Pylos par exemple pour la partie Balnéaire mais nous sommes ouverts à d'autres endroits. Je pars pour le Japon début de semaine prochaine...si tout va bien... N'est il pas trop difficile de s'orienter dans les villes japonaises ? J'ai l'impression que dans beaucoup d'endroits, les indications sont écrites uniquement en japonais , ce qui est à priori incompréhensible pour le français moyen que je suis... Qu'en est il dans les gares, quand on prend le bus, le métro ??
