🙂 Troisième volet de ce carnet de voyage : Keoladeo N.P. (Bharatpur) et Udaipur--

KEOLADEO NATIONAL PARK - A BHARATPUR - RAJASTHAN

Une nouvelle triste à propos de ce parc : la tigresse qui avait qui avait fuit Sariska N.P. et s'était installée dans le fond du parc est morte de maladie en Juillet 2005 😕.

Comme d'habitude à Bharatpur nous logeons chez Ashok et Indu au Safari Guest House qui est un endroit pas cher et super propre avec une ambiance calme et détendu. Ce parc est mondialement réputé pour ses oiseaux migrateurs et résidents qui viennent de trois continents : Asie, Afrique et Europe et se visite à pied ou en vélo. Notement pour les grues de sibérie qui viennent y passer l'hiver. J'ai eu la chance de voir de très prêt une famille : la mère, le père et un petit 🙂. Cette fois ci pas de python car il faisait trop froid pour qu'il sortent de leurs terriers ( 22 à 24 °C seulement).

J'ai fait de superbes clichés de Blue Bulls mâles et femelles dans les marécages, de Sambars ainsi que de quelques oiseaux dont une colonie de + de 3.000 cigognes (qu'est ce que ça pue c'est bestioles quand c'est en groupe comme ça !!! pouah 🤪).

Après 8 jours sur Bharatpur direction Udaipur via Jaipur toujours avec la voiture avec chauffeur, une Ambassador, de la companie Real India Tours de mon ami Raju.

Deux jours de repos et shopping à Jaipur, Raju nous à gracieusement invité dans sa ville; donc logement dans un hotel de Maharadja. La grande classe, une suite superbement décorée pour se reposer. Nous avons découvert que c'est à Jaipur que se fabrique les marionnettes traditionnelles indiennes, on en ramènera au final de ce voyage 19 paires 🤪. On espère en revendre pour amortir le prochain voyage.

Départ de bonne heure pour ralier Udaipur à 350 KM de là. Nous empreintons l'autoroute à 2 fois 2 voies, qu'elle surprise de pouvoir enfin dépasser le 60 Km/h, on fera même des pointes à 100 !!!. Arrivée en début d'après-midi, hé oui on a super bien roulé !!, on se retrouve au Kankarwa Haveli sur le bord du lac face au fameu temple de marbre blanc utilisé pour le James Bond Octopussy.

Udaipur est une ville très touristique mais apaisante grace à son lac et ses Palais. Visite du Palais du Maharadja, Balade en bateau sur le lac et shopping en ville occuperont nos trois jours sur place. On a failli ramener un chiot rencontré en ville et vraiment trop craquant, mais vu les formalités administratives françaises nous avons abandonné l'idée.--

bonsoir a force d'hesiter sur les hotels je ne vais plus rien trouver!!qui connait le nai len park??et vu que l'on reste 1semaine, je souhaiterais trouver un hotel avec une belle piscine(pas un bain de pied ) car j'ai l'impression que les hotels style GRAND SUKMUVIT ou BANYAN TREE ou GRAND HYATT ne possedent que des couloirs de piscine et si il y a 10clients, aucune place pour s'assoir....donc si on peut me passer l'info je vais reserver rapide..

Nous sommes 2 adultes + 2 enfants et nous allons à Koh Samui en fev2006.Nous voulions aller au Jungle Park, ma c'est complet!!! Il y a plein d'hotels et on n'arrive pas à se décider:en effet souvent l'hotel a l'air bien mais on lit que les plages ne sont pas super pour se baigner(pb de rochers, de marées, de vase..) sans danger avec les enfants et leur faire découvrir des poissons qui changent de chez nous, avec simplement masque et tuba.Que me consillez vous? Notre budgt est pour nous 4 aux environs de 3500/4000baths par nuit. merci Faut il absolument se rabattre sur Phuket?

Nous partons faire un voyage, arrivée Phoenix, pour Las Vegas, puis Grand Canyon, Death Valley, etc...Yosemite Park, Carmel, etc...aved un final 3 jours à SF. Notre sejour est du 29 septembre au 15 octobre.

Est ce que l'un d'entre vous connait la méteo sur cette periode, en Cab pouvons capitaliser sur le short et la chemisette...

En fouillant les offres des voyagistes, j'ai trouvé un séjour de 15 jours aux alentours d'Alanya (Hotel-Club PArk Conti). Sans entrer dans le cliché type attrape touriste, est-ce que cet endroit est sympa pour un repos de type balnéaire ?? Est-ce qu'il peut servir de base de départ pour visiter en voiture les sites anciens de la Turquie du Sud-Ouest ?? En fait, mon idée serait de consacrer 3 à 4 jours à la visite du Sud-Ouest et ensuite 3 jours pour la Cappadoce. A partir d'Alanya est-il réaliste d'aller en une seule journée en voiture vers des villes comme Nevsehir (en montant par Konya). ??

Puis le lendemain est-il la encore, réaliste de visiter des sites comme la vallée d'ihlara et puis plus loin le village d'uçhisar en une journée.??

Enfin consacrer la 3ème journée à revenir sur Alanya par la Cote Sud par exemple. Merci de m'aider dans mon itinéraire Cordialement jfl

Nous venons d'apprendre hier de l'agence que l'HOTEL NATURA PARK RESORT fermé jusqu'au 01.11.2004 ne réouvrerait pas jusqu'au 30.11.2004.

Le problème c'est que la date du départ c'était le 25.11.2004.....

Alors ils vont nous mettre à l'HOTEL OCEAN BAVARO SPA & BEACH RESORT.... comment savoir si cet hôtel sera en ETAT et surtout à la hauteur de nos espérances.....😕 😕 😕

Trop de déceptions à ce jour pour faire confiance.... la seule solution un avis NEUTRE... le votre peut-être vous qui revenez de vacances ou bien vous qui résidez sur place à PUNTA CANA.

Hi there. We’ll be in South Africa at the end of February ’26 with a rental car—not a 4x4. What’s the best route between Kosy Bay and the southern part of Kruger Park? Is the Mozambique route via Maputo a good option? What are the formalities for crossing into Mozambique? Is the Kosy Bay area worth a detour? We’ll be entering Kruger from the south for 4 days. I’m planning and budgeting a trip to Australia for August 2026, lasting 40 days.

Here’s the current itinerary: Arrival at Port Macquarie Airport in New South Wales and return from Cairns Airport in Queensland. - South West Rock - Cap Ridge Park - Springbrook Park - Stradbroke Island - Maleny - Noosa - Rainbow Beach - K’Gari - Gladstone - Heron Island - Airlie Beach - Townsville - Magnetic Island - Cairns - Cape Tribulation

My main issue is transport to cover all of this.

The first leg is already tricky—I haven’t found a way to rent a car in Port Macquarie and drop it off in South West Rock. And if we keep the vehicle until Cleveland (8 days) before taking the ferry to Stradbroke Island, it’s already around 1000 €.

- Are there any systems where we could buy a vehicle in Port Macquarie and be sure it’s bought back at the end of the trip in Cairns?

- Do you know of any Australian online car rental sites?

As for trains, they’re not really an option for our stay in New South Wales. In Queensland, I found the Queensland Rail Travel website with a Brisbane–Cairns line, but trains don’t run every day.

- Do you know of any other train companies in Queensland that connect coastal cities from Brisbane to Cairns?

For flights, I checked Queensland with Qantas, and most routes require a stopover in Brisbane, which wastes a lot of time, and the prices are still high.

Do you know of any low-cost airlines for domestic flights in Australia?

I'm taking it slow—I'm only on day 5 of my Tucson to Bisbee leg.

We'd like to stop in Tombstone along the way. I've spotted Boot Hill Cemetery, the Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park, and around the visitor center: the O.K. Corral, Tombstone Historama, the Tombstone Epitaph, the Bird Cage Theatre, and the Crystal Palace Saloon. Is everything worth visiting, and is parking easy in Tombstone? If anyone has parking recommendations, I'd love to hear them. Thanks in advance!

As for Bisbee, I've noted the Queen Mine Tour, the Great Bisbee Stairs Climb, and the downtown tour. Outside of town, there's the Lavender Pit. Any other suggestions for things to check out?

I’ve been reading reviews of different hotels for 3 nights in Las Vegas, and now I’m totally lost ;) So far, within our budget, we’ve shortlisted: (in no particular order) - the New York New York - the Park MGM - the Planet Hollywood

We’ll be back for just one night in Las Vegas, and for that single night, we’re thinking of staying near the airport. The Luxor seems like a good option based on price—we want to splurge a bit more for the first 3 nights.

Our main priorities are cleanliness, and honestly, it feels like it’s hit-or-miss everywhere... Also, check-in seems to take forever at all these places, and since we land at 6 PM, by the time we get there... with the jet lag, the long check-in is really stressing me out... How’s the soundproofing at these hotels, by the way? We don’t need parking, and the pool isn’t a big deal for us :)

We’re open to other affordable suggestions!
