Entry Requirements and Visa for Rwanda

For tourist travel purposes.
For French Citizens
A passport valid for at least 6 months after the planned return date and a visa are required to enter the country. For stays of up to 30 days in Rwanda, the visa is free since 2020 and can be obtained on arrival. Alternatively, a multiple-entry visa for up to 90 days (50 US$) can be obtained either from Rwandan representations abroad or online via the official authorities' website.

"East African Tourist Visa"
Those wishing to visit Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda (but unfortunately not Tanzania) can benefit from a single visa. Called the "East African Tourist Visa," it is priced at 100 US$. Valid for 90 days (non-renewable) and allowing unlimited entries into the three countries, this visa can be obtained from the consulates of the countries involved, as well as on the official Ugandan authorities' website and the official Rwandan authorities' website.
