The Ardèche Gorges, Vanoise, Vercors, Mont Blanc, and several other remarkable sites: the region is rich in natural heritage and has everything to delight "nature-adventure" enthusiasts, both in summer and winter. Add to that the city of Lyon with its UNESCO-listed historic centre, plus the charming medieval villages of the Ardèche department, which are also well worth discovering.
