Guelmim is the famous "Blue Men" city, where every Saturday a camel market is held about 1.2 miles south of the town. It is the largest market of its kind in the country. Beyond that, the city itself does not offer much of tourist interest.
Plage Blanche - Guelmim
As part of the "Plan Azur," there is a project to develop a beach resort a few dozen miles from Guelmim on the coast. Named Plage Blanche - Guelmim, it is set to include a large tourist complex. However, due to numerous financial issues, the project remains on hold for now...
