Getting to Ouarzazate by Land

Ouarzazate is at the crossroads of two major routes: the N9 and the N10. The N9 connects Marrakech to the city via the stunning Tizi-n-Tichka Pass Road and the pass of the same name before continuing on to Zagora. The N10 is the road from Agadir to Errachidia.

By Bus

The bus station is on Avenue Moulay Abdellah, west of the town. Several operators provide bus services from the city. Among them, CTM is the most well-known.

Main Routes

Agadir: 6 or 7 hours’ journey and 130 Dh (approx. 12 €) for a few daytime or overnight buses between the two cities.

Errachidia:

Marrakech: plenty of services between the two cities. 4 hours’ drive and 80 Dh (around 7 €).

Taroudant:

Zagora: several daily buses for roughly 3 hours’ drive and 45 Dh (4 €).

Shared Taxis

The shared taxi rank is right next to the bus station. These serve the surrounding area and even go as far as Marrakech.

By Train

There are no trains to Ouarzazate; the nearest station is Marrakech (205 km away).
