Where to Eat

Depending on your cravings, budget, and stomach’s resilience, you can choose to eat at markets, local *comedores*, or more "classic" restaurants—whether touristy or not.

Markets or street vendors are by far the most budget-friendly options, where you can eat for the equivalent of less than $2 or $3. The food is simple and very local, though hygiene might be a concern for sensitive stomachs. For $4 or $5, you can opt for *comedores*, which are local eateries with limited variety. For around $10 or more, you’ll find the usual range of more "sophisticated" or specialized restaurants, often catering primarily to tourists.
