These are the three autonomous communities of Galicia, Asturias, and Cantabria along the Atlantic coast. This region is quite different from the usual image of the rest of Spain, with greener landscapes and a more humid climate that is milder in summer. It is also here that the famous Camino de Santiago pilgrimage routes end, in the city of Santiago de Compostela.
