Accommodation in the Seychelles
Location Map of Seychelles
Overview of the Offer
As a tourist destination, the archipelago offers a certain accommodation capacity, primarily on the main islands. Out of the 115 islands that make up the Seychelles, barely 16 have the infrastructure to spend the night. While the country has largely opted for luxury or all-inclusive tourism, you can still find some small, affordable hotels and guesthouses, especially on Mahé.
Hotels of All Kinds
Luxury and All-Inclusive
This is the type of accommodation often preferred by most tourists, many of whom choose the "all-inclusive" or "flight + hotel" package. If you're looking for a comfortable, sedentary stay, these packages are actually recommended for their more economical rates compared to booking equivalent nights separately. While the main islands host several establishments in this category, some islets or small islands (Cerf, Bird Island, Frégate, etc.) have also been transformed into hotel complexes.
Guesthouses and Small Hotels
These are small establishments with a few rooms, bed & breakfasts, or B&Bs. This is the option to consider if you're not choosing an all-inclusive stay. Generally of good quality without necessarily being luxury, their starting prices often hover around 50 €/60 minimum for a double room.

Other Options
Camping
There are no campsites in the Seychelles, and wild camping is prohibited.
Rentals
Renting an apartment, villa, or bungalow—often by the week—is an alternative to all-inclusive hotels. These places are equipped and most have a kitchen area. For families or groups, it’s actually a great solution if you’re planning a sedentary stay.
Which Accommodation to Choose?
If you’re not a fan of all-inclusive, guesthouses and B&Bs remain the most economical individual accommodation options.
