Nature-Adventure

Belize is a nature destination par excellence, like most other countries in the region. On the sea side: stunning beaches, the world’s second-largest coral barrier reef, and underwater landscapes perfect for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. On land: the inland jungle with its unique wildlife, waterfalls, countless caves, and various outdoor activities (trekking, rafting, etc.). In short, plenty of options for eco-tourism.

Culture

Less renowned in this area than some of its neighbors, Belize still boasts numerous remnants of its past, starting with several Mayan sites worth visiting (Altun Ha, Caracol, El Pilar, Lamanai, etc.). Beyond these historical landmarks, it’s also a country and diverse communities to discover, with an atmosphere more reminiscent of the Caribbean than the rest of Central America.

Relaxation-Holidays

The destination has developed its beach tourism on its islands (Ambergris, Caulker, etc.), as well as in a few coastal spots like Placencia and its beautiful beaches.

Independent Travel

Belize is a relatively easy destination for independent travel, especially if your stay focuses on the Cayes.
