Languages

English is the official language of the Cayman Islands, though for a large part of the population it is actually a Creole similar to that found elsewhere, such as in Jamaica or Belize. Besides English, Spanish is also spoken by around 10% of the inhabitants, particularly those from Central America and especially Honduras, which makes up the largest Latin American community in the archipelago. French, however, is not spoken.
