Given the country's vast size, the climate naturally varies greatly depending on the region, terrain, or time of year.
Sea Temperature Throughout the Year
Clearly, on both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts, the further north you go, the less suitable the water temperature will be for swimming outside the heart of summer. In the Gulf of Mexico, however, the water remains pleasant year-round.
