Climate Overview
Like the other islands in the region, Saint Barthélemy has a tropical maritime climate with near-constant year-round temperatures averaging around 30°C. It is characterized by two distinct periods: the dry season (called carême) and the rainy season (called hivernage). The first runs from December to the end of May, with little rain, cooler air, and more pleasant temperatures. The second spans June to November, bringing warmer, humid conditions, frequent rain, and two months—September and October—when hurricane risks exist.

As always, the dry season is the best time to visit, unlike the rainy and cyclone-prone period. In short, the ideal climate for a stay in Saint Barthélemy is from Christmas to late April or early May.
