Hello, we’re taking the Celestyal Journey in August. We’re used to cruises, but we don’t know this company or this ship. I know it’s not very big, but that fits our expectations better these days. If anyone has already been on this ship, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for your feedback!

I don’t know the ship itself. It’s a former Holland America vessel, launched in 1993. It’s been extensively refurbished by Celestyal. However, I know the company well—I’ve done four cruises with them. The staff is much friendlier than on Costa or MSC, and the ship’s small size lets it visit places that bigger ships can’t reach.

Hello, thanks for the info. The ship is indeed a former Holland America Line vessel, like the CFC Renaissance, by the way. We were looking for a "human-sized" ship with quality services and a crew that’s attentive and kind. Have a great day.

It’s smaller than the Renaissance, and without meaning to offend CFC, Celestyal has a much better track record when it comes to modernizing ships—a technique they’ve been using for a long time, with shipyards that are also well-practiced.

Ok, thanks. We can’t wait to be there. Two weeks (Adriatic and Greek Islands) on the boat—I think we won’t have time to get bored. Best regards. Pierre-Jean Aix en Pce

Hi, Just so you know, the site "https://www.cruisemapper.com/"; is a goldmine of info for all cruise ships, including (pretty recent!) location details, etc. Happy digging!!
Si vous ne réussissez jamais rien du premier coup, n'essayez pas le parachutisme !
