J' ai besoin d' infos concernant le delais d' obtention du visa de residence permanente.
Mon mari et moi avons fait toutes les démarches nécessaires: nous avons passés la visite medicale et nous aimerions connaitre la durée entre le moment ou le medecin a envoyé le dossier au Canada et le moment ou nous aurons l' immense joie de découvrir la "Brune" dans notre boîte aux lettres.
On commence a bien stresser, le froid arrivant a grands pas, en plus dés notre arrivée, il nous faudra trouver un logement et un emploi, bref c' est pas gagné mais on a hâte.
Personne n'est capable de nous informer sur cette durée et il nous est difficile de nous organiser.On ignore si ça va arriver demain ou dans 2 mois...

Ton message date un peu, mais je vois que personne ne t'a répondu.
Les délais varient bien-sur suivant chaque dossier. J'ai l'impression que 2 mois pourrait etre une bonne moyenne.
Personnellement j'ai recu la confirmation 4 mois environ après la visite médicale, mais mon dossier était sans-doute un peu compliqué.

OUI car comme tu vas le voir Québec est une tres belle ville… Non car les québécois ne sont pas encore pres pour travailler avec les immigrants. C’est dommage ! Quand on pense a tout ce talent gaché !.

Comme vous, mon mari et moi voulons partir au Québec et avons assé la visite médicale le 29 août. Hier cela faisait 3 mois que nous l'avions passé et toujours rien ... Je voulais savoir où tu en étais, si vous aviez reçu quelque chose depuis ton dernier message.
De notre côté nous avons envoyé un mail à l'ambassade avec notre numéro de dossier pour savoir où ils en étaient, mais nous n'avons toujours pas eu de réponse.

Pour info, nous sommes à Montréal depuis 1 mois et demi, donc nous avons eu une réponse positive de l'ambassade 1 mois et demi après la visite.
Peut etre que c'est un peu plus long pour vous si vous avez eu des maladies ou un antécédent médical à vérifier.Peut être qu' il y a bcp d'immigrants à cette période ce qui explique que ce soit plus long.

De notre côté, je crois qu'il nous faudra être patients encore quelques temps ...
Nous avons trouvé un appart le lendemain de notre arrivée et nous avons emménagé 3 jours plus tard.
Nous avons un ami de la famille qui nous a emmené visiter, sans lui on aurait vraiment galléré.Pour les meubles, on a racheté un lot de la vieille qui vivait avant, bon, c'est pas à notre goût mais ça dépanne bien.Faites bien attention a trouver un apprt à coté d' une station de métro; car nous on est un peu loin, on est obligé de prendre le bus puis le métro, et à la longue, je pense que ça va nous fatiguer.
Sinon, pour l'emploi, tout dépend ce que tu veux faire, car du travail alimentaire, t' en trouves, pas de prob.
Moi je travail dans le milieu esthétique cosmétique, je vais bientôt commencer.L'avantage ici, j'ai l'impression qu' on te donne plus facilement ta chance.Tu vas voir, le CV québécois te met bcp plus en valeur, ce qui bien, tu vas t' apercevoir que tu sais faire plein de choses, et c'est ça qui les intérresse.
Autrement, ma première impression n'a pas été géniale:la vie est assez chère(vêtements, bouffe), il a plu dés qu'on est arrivée, et les gens (Désolé pour les québécois) même s'ils sont accueillants (enfin moi j'ai pas remarqué de différence avec les français) n'ont aucun savoir vivre:bonjour, aurevoir, merci: OUBLIE!!
Bref, j'étais assez négative, en plus l'absence de la famille même si ça fait du bien.Mais maintenant ça va mieux, j'appréhende l'hiver, car je commence à geler...! mais je sais qu'au fond de moi je n'y resterais pas toute ma vie ni en France d' ailleurs, mais le froid m'inquiète (il ne faut pas oublier qu'il fait nuit à 16 h00 !!!!)
Moi, je suis là pour acquérir une expérience professionnelle, parler anglais. voyager partout autour, profiter des festivals l'été et advienne que pourra.

Je viens poster ici car je souhaiterais obtenir des renseignements au sujet des délais d’obtention de la carte de résidence permanente pour le Canada.
En effet, j’ai déjà regardé les délais sur le site officiel du ministère de l’immigration canadien, mais il est noté qu’en moyenne 80% des demandes sont traitées en 62 mois (plus de 5 ans), ce qui me semble beaucoup. :
Pour info, je rentre tout juste de Vancouver après y avoir travaillé pendant 18 mois, et je suis maintenant parfaitement bilingue. Je n’ai qu’un souhait en tête, y retourner. Donc je m’inquiète beaucoup de ce délai qui me semble très long.
Pensez-vous qu’il est possible de passer par un autre bureau de traitement des visas que celui de Paris lorsque l’on réside en France ?
Est-ce que mon expérience au Canada me permettra d’obtenir plus rapidement la carte de résidence permanente ?

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
