J'ai entendu parler du cholera a la Havane. Est-ce que la glace est fait d'eau potable ou du robinet J'aimerais savoir si c'est prudent de boire des cocktails dans les restaurants et bars de la Havane. car souvent ses cocktails contiennent de la glace.
Effectivement il y a une alerte au choléra émise par l'agence de la santé Francaise et Canadienne concernant la Havane. Il est certain qu'il va falloir être extrêmement vigilant et banir les glaçons des coktails.
Mais même si nous évitons les glaçons, rien nous dit non plus que les jus de fruits ne sont pas coupés avec de l'eau ????? que les légumes sont certainement lavés avec de l'eau non bouilli etc... alors quoi faire ? Si quelqu'un connaît la réponse je suis preneuse aussi 😉.
Une questions est posée je répond. Pas moi qui va ostiner 2 jours a savoir si c'est grave ou pas, dangereux ou pas. C'est une 50aine de cas et c'est tout. Si vousavez pzpeut il y a les vaccins ou si non vous faite comme moi et dite bof.
À chacun son point de vue et son opinion. Voici la mienne: selon ce que j'ai pu recueillir d'informations là-dessus (car je planifie aussi d'y aller), les vaccins ne sont pas vraiment recommandés pour les voyageurs. Apporter de l'imodium et des sels de réhydratation au cas où. Les possibilités de contracter le choléra, pour un voyageur, sont faibles mais puisqu'elles existent quand même, le gouvernement émet un avis d'être plus vigilant à ce qu'on boit et ce qu'on mange.
Les principales choses: évidemment l'eau, les cocktails faits avec de l'eau. Ensuite, favoriser les aliments bien cuits (ici, la question est la manipulation des aliments ou encore sa contamination par l'eau).
Les fameux 51 cas déclarés à la Havane sont ''officiels''. De nombreuses sources indépendantes, y compris des journalistes cubains à Cuba(pas juste de Miami), disent que c'est beaucoup plus que çà. Mais en revanche, le touriste a une vie différente que l'habitant au plan de l'accès à la salubrité et tout est fait là-bas pour qu'il ne contracte pas cette maladie: imaginez l'effet sur l'industrie touristique! Alors, le gouvernement cubain a mis en place des mesures sanitaires préventives pour que rien ne lui arrive. Une amie à moi vient de revenir de Cuba, partout où elle allait, on lui faisait laver les mains avec du chlore. Elle a évité de manger sur la rue et son voyage a été ok.
Il faut savoir que la majorité des gens qui l'attrapent n'ont soit aucun symptôme, soit des symptômes semblables à la turista (la différence, c'est qu'il n'y a pas de fièvre avec le choléra). 20% auront des symptômes plus importants.
Donc, allez-y avec cette vigilance et passez un bon séjour!
L'imagination est plus importante que le savoir. On peut tout savoir et ne rien faire tandis qu'avec l'imagination on peut tout faire (Einstein).

c'est simple, en dehors des hôtels où tu peux éventuellement être sure que tes glaçons sont industriels et donc sans risque, il faut éviter de boire tout ce qui ne sort pas d'une bouteille fermée avant ton arrivée, les salades, les légumes crus et les fruits non pelés.
C'est d'ailleurs en général ce que l'on conseille déjà à tout voyageur ayant l'estomac un peu délicat, même sans problème de choléra à la clé.

bonjour a tous! j'arrive de cuba j, ai sejourne ,8 jours , soit 4 jours a la havane et 4 a varadero, et je peux vous confirmer que c'est chose du passer, aucun probleme , a signaler, pas meme une petite tourista , moi qui a d'habitude l, estomac fragile, j'ai pris les mesures recommander soit eau en bouteilles, j, ai manger dans plusieurs restaurant et paladar sans aucun probleme, c, est simple partout ou vous payer en pesos convertible , vous ete sur de la qualite des aliments,
au plaisirs ps: je n, ai pas pris le fameux vacin, et suis bien content de ne pas avoir gaspille mon argent pour cela, car le vaccin n, est pas tres efficace, lavez vous les mains , ayez toujours une bouteille de desinfectant et tout iras bien

Rien à craindre , n'oubliez pas imonium, spasfon et sirop pour la gorges !
nous avons tout prévu pour le Turista ! mais on a oublié sirop pour la gorge ; à cause la fumée des Veilles voitures Américaine et des gros camions; nous avons eu la gorge irrité durant notre séjour à la Havane !

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.
After all that, and even though I’ll obviously contact the relevant authorities in each country (fingers crossed for a response 😛), here’s my question:

I have several chronic conditions (including asthma and related ones), and I’m planning to travel for a year across different countries.
Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.
I plan to bring my prescriptions with the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), as well as the original packaging (even though it’s a nightmare, but from what I understand, it’s necessary). But I’m not sure if that’s enough...

For several years now, increased aggression has been observed in Cape fur seals.

The suspected origin is contamination in Namibia by jackals.
The contagion seems to be spreading.
Preventive vaccination (of the animals) is being considered.

It’s the bite that transmits the disease.
There are so-called "furious" forms with aggression, but also forms without aggression.
